I feel for the pain that you are going through. I had a good friend that went through the same thing that you going through and yes as my prayers were with him they are for you as well. With prayer good thing's come to those who ask as you have asked so good things should come to you. Again my heart and prayers go out to you and your family for a full and fast recovery, and if you would like please keep in touch!

Are you having an endoscopy? I had one a few years ago, and it was uncomfortable but otherwise okay. That's where they place a camera down your throat to look at your stomach. If you're having an upper GI, where you swallow the barium solution, I've had that too, and it's even easier. So don't be nervous.
There are plenty of treatments available for ulcers, from medicine to inhibit acid production in your stomach to antibiotics to kill H. pylori (a bacteria most people have in their stomachs; some strains of it can cause ulcers). I've had ulcers, and so have other family members, and we all took medicine, and we're all okay. You probably will be, too.
I don't pray, but I empathize and wish you well. It's never fun going to the hospital.

I have just prayed for you. I prayed that the gastroscopy will go smoothly, that the medical team who attend to you has wisdom and skill. Most of all I prayed that you are someone who has accepted Jesus as your Savior, and that you are praying yourself. I hope the following verse will help you:
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God." (Isaiah 41:10)
Hope all goes well and, if you want to, let us know the result.

"JackBauer" is incorrect, prayer works.
We'll pray that God walks alongside you during the test, that His Spirit will keep you calm. We'll pray for the efficiency of the technicians, and the diligence of the doctor to determine the best course of action for you.
And we'll pray that you have the strength to change your lifestyle in a positive way so the ulcers are gone soon.

Yes I will pray for you. You must also believe in the healing power of Jesus Christ. It isn't enough for us just to pray for you but you must also believe when you ask in faith for healing that it is done. He has heard your heart and He knows your pain, believe in Him and you will be healed. I know this for a fact. I have asked for healing in my body in different areas and as soon as I speak it out I am healed. For instance when I got down on my knees to pray one morning, I felt a sharp pain in one of my knees, immediately I asked for healing in my knee. When I stood up I had no more pain in the knee. I have had other instances where I've asked for His healing and every time I have receive it. I believe a person can {with the power of Jesus} heal any part of their body.
Have faith my friend, keep praying, and God bless you!!!!

Most gracious and eternal God, we come to you right now in the name of Jesus praying oh Lord that you will touch your child and heal all infirmities. Lord Jesus, you said all we have to do is but ask in your name and believe in our hearts and it shall be done. Lord I pray that you lift your child up, heal body, mind and spirit and block the hand of evil right now, grant peace, the peace that passeth all understanding, and strenghten and keep your child through the storms of life. These mercies we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
May the Lord richly bless you and keep you in his loving arms.

No, I don't pray. Obviously you don't believe prayer actually works or you wouldn't go to the hospital.
I wish you the very best though, hope you get well!
