(assuming you're genuine; -this IS the internet after all) I"d start enlisting help from others in your area who feel the same. Only when you've got enough people to notice, should you bother going to the media. News media are nothing more than sensation whores. Unless you give em a story that'll sell newspapers, they won't give ya time. True or false, they don't care wether they're guilty or not. Portraying them as murderers as murderes is bringing in $, so that's what they'll do.
Having a story that means $ to the media's the only way you'll get the word out. Get enough support and you'll be able to make it happen.

Contact the Drudge Report (Matt Drudge) on the internet. Fox news often picks up from him, so does Rush and other radio talk shows. Once they blow the lid off all the other major networks reluctantly follow suit. Seriously, start with the conservatives, they will get the story out. Suggested radio shows: Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reily, also, check your local conservative talk shows. Matt Drudge is well known for blowing the lid off of many stories. I would try to contact him first. Good luck.

Gp to your local newspaper and offer them your story. If it's good, they will publish it. If it's really good, a bigger chain will pick it up and publish it in more papers. If it's excellent you will soon be all over CNN.
Don't give up. If mainstream newspapers don't want to publish your story, go to an alternative newspaper. There are plenty of ways to get your story out (including a web blog, and buying an advertisement in the newspaper that will tell your story exactly the way you want to tell it).

Contact every media outlet that you can think of. If you want to email the article to me, I will PERSONALLY forward it to every outlet that I can think of. As a Navy veteran, I am obsessed with getting this story out to as many people as possible. I find it TOTALLY ABSURD that these guys are being convicted in the press, which has a record of being staunchly ANTI-military, in spite of their statements that "we support the troops, we're just opposed to the war". The truth is, BAD news for the military is GOOD news for the "mainstream" media. Again, I will forward your/their story to as many national and international media outlets that I can think of. I've listed two emails below. Semper Fi, Marine!!!

Write a letter to your local newspaper and see if it gets noticed. You will have a battle in your own if you go to the media...they are biased. Good Luck with that. Also, speaking as a witness on the personal level of the subjects will help them allot. See if you can contact their lawyer.

it will never happen man, the media is left wing biased, and all about degrading the military and the things it does. Anything that would shed a light in their favor will never be published. Don't worry about the reputations of the men that were involved, all the people that really matter believe they are innocent.

Look in your local paper for the person writing stories about Iraq and Marines. Most papers have email addresses or contacts numbers for the reporters. Reporters are looking for stories. Email your story to the reporter...and he or she should interview you.
