I am 4 months pregnant, and my boys are busy busy busy. And they get one another wound up so tight, that they come to point in the day, where they just dont listen. I am just looking for some helpful tips to make my life a little less stressful. They are great boys, and they play well together. They just keep me really busy, and being pregnant, i am sooooo tired.

Make a quiet time for them (for only as long as a movie can last)... put on a disney movie and give them some snacks, and coloring books (any quiet toys) and anything they need to remain calm and possibly give them a nap time.
I do this for my nieces when I baby sit. They usually fall asleep or keep themselves quietly busy. If they break the quiet... I tell them if they don't stay quiet they will go in time out for breaking quet time. And they know that only if it's really important then they can break quiet time.
This helps me clean the house and relax while babysitting them. It has been working on my nieces for 3 years. (A 3 year old and 5 year old). Good Luck.

I used the TV as a sitter when I was going thur what you are. Just had them in one room so they couldn't run all over the house. Watch movies and have a toy box in the living room or what ever room you are in. If you could find a family member to help that would be good. You need to have time for you too.
Good LUCK
Been there and I don't know what too tell anyone it's a big blur!

Good luck with two young boys. Mine were 19 months apart. I had quite a time with them. You need to get them involved with play dates and maybe even daycare just so that you can get a break. I know that it can get expensive but maybe for only a couple of days a week just so that you can catch your breath.

hopefully the daddy is around to help. maybe a daycare a few days a week would help you and them out. If not church camp or any other activity that gives all of you a break. SOunds like prayer is your best bet! GOOD LUCK and Congratulations!

This may be off the subject, but do you spank your boys? Even at that young of an age the understand spankings, in fact, spankings work better than everything else. When they don't listen, spank. They'll obey you better and everyone will be happier. Good luck!

Before they get each other wound up, change activities. That should stop things for awhile. If they listen to you, you can read to them, or play something with them that they suggest.

If you can afford it, try a daycare.
