God is with the one who believes and trusts in His Son NOW. When the believer dies, his/her soul goes to be with Christ in heaven. At the consummation of the age, God will create a New Heavens and a New Earth for all the redeemed to enjoy. It is not the case that believers will live in heaven as spirits forever - they will be resurrected and the earth (universe) will be renewed and restored to its pristine goodness and death will be a thing of the past.

Yes I want to be with god where ever I am, Heaven is a lure for teh do gooders, to do good. God is omni present, all encompassing, he is in heaven and so he will well be in hell too. Just thoght of it and your question prompted me to it.
You have to decide if you want to do good just to goto heaven or you want to do good cause you want Gods company and invariable heaven is secondary but incidental.
I would rather have the close company of God wherever I am and to do that I firstly believe in God in all purity Giving god his due recognition in my heart, then follow his books and prophets then love and respect humanity, fight for human values and dignity, struggle against opression and indignities, and serve my parents and family, above all charity should not be looked upon as charity, but as peoples rights over you. May the Almighty show us the way and guide us for the same.

I am with God in Heaven right now. We talk all the time and he answers me diligently. When you believe in God and truly know his existence you will be visited by his Angels and that my friends will not scare you or frighten you...it's a wonderful experience to see, but few will ever see that opportunity for the way they live their lives.
Trust in God and watch what happens, but put no pressure on him for answers. The best part of knowing God is living with him everyday.

For those who thinks that everyone who believes will go to Heaven, think again:

(Jam 2:19) "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." Satan and his angels believe in Jesus, but they won't be there.

(Jam 2:20) "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?"

The opposite is true also works without faith is also dead.

Seriously there really isn't anything that we can do on our own to get into Heaven. We need Jesus to get us through the gates.

Of course!! Who wouldn't want to be? But the last I heard, the only requirement for me to get there was to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and savior in my life, confess that He died on the cross for my sins, and ask Him to come into my heart. John 3:16. Now, it also says in the Bible that "without Holiness, you will not see the face of God", so I am not sure what you are really asking. There is nothing we can truly do but believe and confess Him with our mouth to gain access and why anyone wouldn't want to is really beyond me because as my husband says "people are crazy because it is so simple to do. it is like giving up a free get of of jail pass when you reject Him". Don't you think?

Yes i do want to go to heaven and i will do anything i will donate money to charities and help people and read the bible and these are things i have done before. I love god i love jesus i talk to god and i care about god and i care about jesus. They are important to me. And i will stand by God and Jesus.

Well, I haven't yet done all the really bad things I want to do yet. After I've done really horrible things, hurt many people, etc., then I will accept Jesus Christ as my savior, you know, since that's all I need to do to get into heaven. But for now, watch out world!!!!!

u dont have to do anything to get to heaven excep 1. believe that jesus christ died on the cross for our sins!! 2. admit your are a sinner and ask god to forgive and wash away your sins . YOU CANT EARN YOUR WAY TO HEAVEN ITS A GIFT FROM GOD YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT THE GIFT !
