What age do you think is right to get married and have kids?

For me, I am 24. Personally, I could get married now; however, I won't be because I want to be in the same city before marriage. I don't believe that finances are that important for marriage because regardless we will have the debt we have whether we are together or not. I believe they are important enough for me to hold off a few years for children. I plan on having kids around 29. I believe that having my credit card debts and student loans paid off first (and being able to spend a few years with my significant other) is a vital thing to have before you have to support another person. I know that before now, I wasn't ready to marry because I still had to decide if the person I am with now was the right person for me and vice versa. My younger sister is married and she is 20. She just got married in March. For her, she and her husband were ready to get married because they felt that they could handle the expenses that come with marriage. If you are going to school and are covered by your parent's health/dental/vision insurance, you are covered until 23/24. However, if you get married, you are automatically taken off the insurance. If you decide to purchase it on your own, student health insurance that I know of is $110 on your own, $461 for you and your spouse ,$601 for you, your spouse and your children (based on monthly rates for Texas A&M). It's $98 for vision/dental/pharmacy discounts annually. Also, you have to remember to include rent, renter's insurance, car payments, car insurance, life insurance. The amount racks up when you don't have a steady job yet. That is another one of the reasons why I decided to wait until I had graduated and have a full-time job before I decided that I was ready to get hitched. Good luck with your decision!

Well... Everyone is different. I don't think you should be 17 and plan on getting married to the first guy who comes along. But I also don't think you should wait for ever to have children. But I don't think you should have children until you get married. You don't want to be gettin older and have to get up to a crying baby. My mom was getting older when she had my youngest sister, and she doesn't do all the things with her, that she did with the older ones. Also just because you say you want to start having kids at... Lets say 35... When your first child is 5, you will be 40, and you could want your second one 5 years apart (not likely but possible) You will be 50 years old with a TEN year old, and a 15 year old. When I'm 50 years old, I'm going to be living in Flordia.

you should get married as soon as you find your Mr.Right.I am 22 n already 6 months of married life.We liked eachother from the first sight and decided we cant stay apart anymore and got married.
i think to get marry ,its not age,money, its finding trustable,honest,loving patner.
