Soulmates are people that you just instantly recognize and feel a deep connection with them right away when you meet them. How many times has this happened to you before? Ever meet someone and really feel like you know them and like they're your best friend?

These souls become your mates in your life as best friends, siblings, lovers, etc. Some people have a few and some have a lot. It's not that hard to really know which ones are soulmates. It is what I felt at first when I first met then, that clasifies them as a soulmate.

You know about the "love at first sight" thing, I never truly understood what it meant before until it actually happened to me three years ago when I truly understood it's true meaning. I believe that people misunderstand it, and the fact that many have yet to experience it, they want to not believe that it exists.

What I found out it really means, is that you are recognizing a former love that you had in a past life. When I first met my partner three years ago, as soon as we met, I had this revelation that this person was my former lover. We truly felt like we were picking up where we left off. We did not have to create anything between us. It had already pre-existed. The love that was there between us had already been created previously and that when we met in person in this life, it became "love at first sight" meaning I recognized the love that I had for this person. It hit me like a ton of bricks when I realized that this person was the same person I had a dream of a week previously. I dreamt that I loved this person so much. I felt this incredible love for this person filling up my heart instantly right after we met. We told each other we loved each other within the first 16 hours that we first met.

Does that make sense about the meaning of "love at first sight"?

Hi! liked the question (I'm a bit late, eh?) and I can guess who's getting the l0 points (man, that one chick wrote a lot.. I write a lot too.. she outdid me tho, man.. boy, what a beautiful answer!) Anyhow, I love love.. I really DO believe in love at first sight.. it is God's gift. You always will love this person.. you might never end up with them, or you might be with them ever so briefly.. but they always are your 'love..' I feel. I've never met my 'soul mate' (I think that term's a trifle overdone.) Do you mind me saying, but I read your questions and I really think you are all infatuated with this same man at work. I hope and pray you end up with him (are with him now..) I think it will work out.. you are quite smitten with him, are you not? Good luck, my dear.. Nothing is so beautiful as a love.. but nothing is so painful as loss of it either.. (sigh) You sound like a beautiful spirit.. (One moment with our 'love' .. even seconds.. are worth more than a lifetime with someone mediocre.. trust me, I know.. I'm living w/someone I should not be with right now.. sigh)

I believe in love BEFORE first sight. It is there before you meet, and still there afterwards if you depart, which means trully is unconditional.
