I think because it is made like fried chicken. I saw chicken fried chicken on a menu a few days ago i was like WTF?

It is basically because the steak is deep fried like chicken can be, sometimes cooked in the same oil used as the chicken.

Cause it's breaded and fried like chicken, but they are letting you know it's steak and not chicken.
