This takes me right to the Colonial House on PBS or something like that. I would like to be reading, but in a more realistic light, I would probably be doing the chores of the day before I go to bed to start chores all over again the next day. Manual laundry, manual everything. It would probably not be fun, but sometimes I think it is bad that we have become so reliant on some of our modern conviences.

Sometimes I wonder what if electricity went out ... forever? What would people be doing? What would I do with all my spare time? I would not be able to surf Yahoo Answers and answer random questions.
I would have too much free time. But all that free time must be used - and used it will be. I would spend my time to ... oh yes, take over the world. I would create my own nation and assimilate other nations into my own. The reliance people have on electrical technology would allow me to quickly conquer all known civilization.
After that I would sit down and read a good book.

i would start a fire and sit be still while havoc ran threw the streets cuz you know somepeole would rob something...and hope the lights would come back on( thus being at night for long period of time without electricity) if it were during the day would spend time with the animals outside and wonder when it would be on again.... or i would be under the sheets making my own electricity with my husband
