White blood cell count is a function of your immune system. A "low" count is a relative term and can mean anything. A low count can be normal for you, or the result of chemotherapy drugs, or even the result of some infections such as HIV. Or maybe you were told you had a "low white blood cell count" so therefore an active infection was ruled out. Your doctor should be able to explain to you if your "low white blood cell count" is significant or not.

there is no specific food that will increase the white cell count but a general healthy diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables will help.
in cases of liver disease oily fatty foods should be avoided. this means no fried stuff.
