Im 25 years old, athletic build, never had a girlfriend and i want one. I was told im a nice guy, quite, not bad looking. Im very shy when comes to girls especialy pretty ones. How do i get a one?

In my own experience, this kind of attitude is all wrong. It's more respectful to treat a woman as a person--nothing more--than as a Goddess. You can't have a Goddess for a girlfriend, you'll be far too inhibited... in many ways.
That doesn't take away anything except the distance you feel. It adds a great deal of good.
Also, you're most likely going to screw up anyway in approaching a girl. Don't let this moment decide the outcome of so many other moments.

You either need to approach women every day until you are no longer shy. Walk around in the mall, when you see one you like, don't hesitate, walk right up to her, look her in the eye and say "I like you". Then take it from there.
Or, go vacation somewhere women are sexually aggressive and approach you. Fortaleza, Brazil is a good choice.

Try personals sites, I haven't had many dates from them but you do get a chance to meet new friends. And who knows, maybe one of them knows someone who would be good for you. Just gotta meet people instead of doing nothing!

Go to social events, try too learn girls' interests and talk about them. I'm very shy when it comes to guys.

Try a class or hobby...like a cooking class or something like that...or....oh this is a good one....volunteer!!! Yes! Volunteer at a homeless shelter or something like that - that would be a major turn on!

my boyfriend is the same, really really shy with women. I think when you meet the right girl, it'll happen, if not get your mates to help set you up - that's what our friends did!

Be yourself!! You will eventually meet someone who is probably outgoing and will approach you first but you have to put yourself in a position where they can find you!

cash works, gurlfriends are not possessions, they are people, wait until one that suits you comes along. quit stressing over it, when you are ready it will happen. (you forgot to add 25 year old virgin)
