Temptation is hard but if you are both dedicated to remaining celebate through your relationship you can do it - with God's help. Start going to church together and get involved in some couple's things at your church. When you go out together, go out with some other Christian couples sometimes.
When you are out alone don't stay out all night - if your out and it's late it's more of a temptation to just go home together. Make sure you also talk to eachother about it - being honest with eachother is something that is very important. Also, you should talk to your pastor if you continue to find it hard to abstain from sex. God bless you!
If you ever wanna talk, feel free to message me =) simplyenigmatic25

Let me just say that it isn't just tough "these days". People have been pressured into sex for all sorts of different reasons since sex was invented. My advice to you is stop watching television. This will not only help you with sexual temptation, but also helps in avoiding materialism, buying useless things, and also frees up time so you can learn something useful. It is my personal opinion that if you're safe about it, go have sex all you want. Do it with someone you care about, and there's nothing you should regret. It's human. The vast majority of humans are born without any inkling of a Christian God's approval.

keep fighting it with other events to take your minds off of it. I for the life of me don't know why it is believed that an inherent attribute such as the natural attraction and the urge of reproduction is fought so vehemently. Do you really believe that if nature takes its course you will be cast out as children of God. My sisters were molested by a preacher who professed to be a child of God to a church full of people. I think fasting, praying and the time apart is a good defense and should protect you both.

One of the hardest things to do is to resist sexual temptation with a person who you have been dating and to whom you are sexually attracted. All you can really do is the following: when you are alone and kissing, or whenever you get the sexual urge, just bear in mind that you don't want to make a large mistake. Sometimes, the only thing you can do is to remind yourself of your willingness to remain abstinent during the hardest time: when your sexual desire is at its peak. All you can do is to think during times of intimacy "don't take this any further." and if one of you starts to take things to the sexual level, the other must remind both of you that it is not the time for sex. Remember, sex does not make a relationship great. Commitment, honesty, communication, and trust, among other things, are what make great relationships. Always remind yourself this and TRUST in yourselves not to make the huge mistake that you fear.

It might help to avoid situations where the two of you would be alone; could also help if the two of you sat down and established some limits for the relationship and stick to them.
Congratulations on finding yourself a good, Christian man!

hey! i appreciate your effort... but the more you think about it the more it gets harder to resist... so just try yourself not to think about it...avoid situations that are hard to controll (you know). be with friends always... it is much harder if it is always the two of you... talk about it with your guy so that he will know that you want to wait till marriage... and most of all..pray to God for strength... don't listen to some other persons here who would say why stop yourselves... know where you stand and stand firm... all in all..you gotta pray to God all the time... fasting is okay.. but don't over do it... just pray for strength... and make other things that you both enjoy aside from making out... avoid making out all the time... God bless and keep it up.

ok, you need to try doing activities that wont allow you to have such feelings. I understand you guys sexual appetie because we are humans but try going out to dinner and having a great conversation.
Write a list about why it's not right to give in to such temptation and put in on your refrigerator or somewhere where you can see it. You guys are going to be ok!
