How can those who are mentally retarded receive salvation if they can't comprehend Jesus?

It is not about comprehending Jesus. You can know Jesus, but that does not bring you into heaven It is having a personal relationship with him. God Know everyones heart who is pure and who is not pure for him. it states in the word. I will know you by your fruit. If you accept him in your heart and confess he is lord, and ask him to forgive you of your sins, from that moment you are saved.
