I want to buy a good digital camera, please give me good recommendations of cameras not more expensive than $250.00 USD and with 6 or more megapixels. Thank u!!!!

I do free lance P.I. work on the side of my regular job, and I use a Sony Cyber-shot. It only has 4.1 mega pixels, but after printing the pics, I can't tell much difference from my cam and my partners. He has a camra that uses 8.5 mega pixels, but it cost him about $1000.00. My Sony cost me $230.00 brand new, and it has tons of features like 3x voom and lots of light controls. U might need to check E-Bay or other outlets like that for a used camara in very good condition. If you see one for sale, you might check out the company first and check into a warrenty. Good luck with the search.

Sony makes a new cybershot with 6.0 megapixels that retails for $199.99. I've seen it on sale at both Best Buy and Circuit City as low as $179.99

as someone who works in the industry stay away from kodak....they have a software problem in their lower cost cameras you can get an editing program to fix this but it costs extra...the best advice is to ask instore for the best value for money that you can afford..sony , fujifilm, pentax all make really good cameras it depends on what exact features you are after..
