I'm imagining it's some kind of small fine. It should be a huge fine and jail time for repeat offenders.

sqwrlgirl- OK witty it is. I agree about outrageous fines, like big enough to put you out of business. Not the first time though. Maybe 2 or 3 offense. Also they would have to pay the fees for deporting the people they had hired.

Hit them where it hurts--their wallet.
If it looks like they don't learn-their wallet and jail.

Examples--restaurants do not like to be hauled to jail for underage drinking and they check those IDs and stores too. Once in a while some get caught and lose their license. They pay and hate it and if your caught 3 times-you go to jail and lose your license and pay.

If you break the law-you pay one way or another.

Employers ARE the reason illegals even get the scent of "something better". Employers hold themselves SO MUCH more above the law that they don't fear persecution and/or prosecution.

I and this is just me....hold employers RESPONSIBLE for MUCH of this problem.

Employers should be fined and by fined....I mean OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNTS. I also think that the first offense should be automatic jail time...isn't that what we want for those who work for them?

Reality Rocks!

Oh and I would go with witty......with a sprinkling of nuts!

The punishment so far as been virtually nothing. However, I think they should be charged a felony charge for knowingly hiring illegals. They are selling out their own. The fines should be much greater and jail time should be mandatory.

Right Now-A hefty fine. 10,000/illegal I think.

It Should Be-They should have to clean up the mess after we run their illegal employees through a massive ******* meat grinder. And they should have to do it with a TOOTH BRUSH. Then they should be baeten to death by the unemployed. The unemployed would gladly do this because these people gave their jobs to some bean farming Mexican.

Heavy fine and imprisonment for first time offenders. Also budget the money to enforce this.

There needs to be a economic punishment; most companies that hire illegal, are only doing it to save some money and thus they should lose extra money.

They should reimburse the localities where their employee lived for all funds paid on education and services for the employee and his dependants during the time of employment.

The second time they should be jailed.

I don't know what it is, but I agree with you 100% of what it should be!!! I think that is going to be the key to stopping people from coming into the U.S. illegally. They're coming for the jobs...so no jobs, no reason to come!
