You ask some questions that don't have easy answers. I'll try my best to answer for you.
Who wrote the Bible?
- Spiritualy: God wrote it. It is God's plan for our lives and his promises to us.
- Physically: in all actuality, many people from all walks of life and all levels of society composed many sections of the bible over many thousands of years. (It was estimated that well over 40 different people worked on the bible. The actual numbers may never be truly known.)
Is there an original version anywhere?
Yes and no. All that we have that are available and still exist that are not lost due to the passage of time are hand written manuscripts. The oldest (GENESIS, the first book in the Bible) is estimated to be written (most scholars think it may have been written by Moses or a perhaps a disciple of his) about 1500 B.C. The latest book of the Bible (is Revelation) written about 95 A.D. (by a man named John, some believe it is the disciple John, others think it may have been written by a disciple of his on the island of Patmos during the Christian persecution by the Roman Emperor Nero).
It had to be written in other languages....
You are correct, the bible is written in three languages over time
- Hebrew & Aramaic (Throughout the Old Testament)
- Greek (Mostly within the New Testament)
Who was there with Jesus, Moses, etc, all the time writing down everything they said and did?
With Jesus, there was the disciples Peter, John, Jesus' half brother James, and perhaps a few others who are now unknown due to passage of time. They also wrote many of the new Testament letters to many churches after the death of Christ in 30 A.D.
With Moses was Joshua (who wrote much of the book of Joshua found within the bible), Moses' brother Aaron and others, names unknown.
Stone Philips?
lol. Good one.
I hope this answers some of your questions.

The Bible was written over 1600 years.
1450 B.C. till 100 A.D.
It was written by about 40 different individuals.
Some were lawyers, some were fishermen, some were tax collectors, some were farmers.
There is no original version because all the writers did not know each other.
In fact, some did not realize their writings would be included in the Bible at the time they wrote.
Copies of the original can be found, some dating to within 10 years of the original.
The Bible was started in the Hebrew language.
A small part is in Aramaic, and the rest was originally written in Greek.
Usually, the main person involved wrote the book, although at times others who were part of the experience wrote their own account.
Like Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

The Bible was written by over fouty authors and compiled several years after the death of Christ.
The Bible consists of 66 individual books that were written by over fourty authors. An amazing thing about the Bible is that while there are numerous authors, there are no major discrepancies. If you asked fourty people today who all witnessed the same event to write a paper on that event. Chances are you would get close to 40 different storries. So, this is an evidence in support of the Bible.
The primary languages for the bible were Hebrew and Greek.
I dont know who stone philips is.

The easy answer is to say God wrote it, by inspiring a succession of men over a period of many centuries. Joshua was with Moses (who could write perfectly well himself, by the way), David wrote some, and Solomon, and each of the prophets wrote the book which carries his name. Peter and John and Matthew and several others were with Jesus. Some of it was written in Hebrew, some in Aramaic, some in Greek, and so forth. We have copies that are at least a couple of thousand years old. The fact that it wasn't all written at one time is an important point- it allowed later writings to be checked against what had come before, to ensure that it was valid.

funny how there never was an action bible with the trinity (dnt know right spelling, sorry) and all until year 315 when there was some kind of meeting (Nicaes). and even then 318 members only agreed our of 2048 to have it the way it is now! obviously it took 315 years just to put the right thing together. if i understood the book i'm reading now perfectly, there used to be 5 versions and then there was 4. and neither the 4 nor 5 were connected in any way. so, there was no one at any time writing down everything Jesus said and did. that happened to my holy book (QURAN), not Bible :)

The original was written in Hebrew, which I doubt seriously you could read, as for the go from right to left, and bottom to top. Later it was translated by Gutenburg I believe it was, and I am sure that there are other interpretations as well. The more interpretations they are the more likely it is to misinterpret. Do a little research and you will find the origin of the Bible, and its versions. Also, let me add that the Lord doesn't tolerate blasphemy, which by the way is the ONLY unforgiveable sin.

There were several authors that contributed to the Bible, like a Book of Short Stories.
I think the Jews and the Dead Sea Scrolls has the most original version, but the Bible's true message has been all watered down through the ages based on the "interpenetration" of the translator.

Lets start by seperating fact from fiction,,, which also applys to the Bible.
The Original Source Text, the Hebrew Bible is named, TORAH, which means simply, INSTRUCTIONS. The first Instructions were ORAL..that is, verbal, to Adam, with more given to Noach,,,and even more to Abraham,,,and then finally, the Story goes, that GOD gave Moses instruction to WRITE the entire previously ORAL INSTRUCTIONS, beginning with Ten of the Instructions being engraved on Stone Tablets.,,,however, the ensuing 600 plus additional Instructions were written down, TOGETHER with additional VERBAL INSTRUCTIONS, which is called, Mishnah, or Oral Torah. Moses, wrote down the Five initial books over a forty year span,,,on animal skin, scrolls,,,and wrote out, thirteen copies, one for each of the Tribes and one copy which was kept in the ARK of Covenant....each copy was exactly the same as the others, for the express purpose of maintaining accuracy of the WORD...which GOD commanded was not to be altered.
Later, as a result of the Israelites NOT keeping the TORAH INSTRUCTIONs, GOD spoke to Prophets,, with words of encouragement, and spelling out the results of the various disasters that Israel experienced due to their rebellion....as well as Words of encouragement to assist Israel in teshuvah, or repentance. The books of prophets is called the Tanakh....which has been maintained along with the TORAH virtually unchanged for over 3300 years....literally exactly as Moses wrote it.
The New Testament, is dubious, at best,,,the various English translations being based on a mistranslated Greek translation of the Hebrew Text called the Septuagint,,,which was further mistranslated into LATIN, the Vulgate, and these were the basis of early English translations. Gospel authors, unknown. Epistle authors also unknown....so the early church fathers, gave the gospels and epistles the names of supposed disciples of Jesus. The reason that there is no evidence for the historical real person of Jesus, or of Mary, of Joseph, or any of the apostles, is that they were all the work of Fiction, very imaginative, but nonetheless Fiction, which was attached to the Hebrew Scripture in order to give the new Christian religion some semblance of authenticity. Most of the so called prophecies of the ENglish NT are spurious, or fabrications. The fact stands without controversy, there are a multitude of contradictions in the NT....as well as plagiarisms of pagan cult religions that were popular in that age. Sincerely

no human being human being wrote the Bible. that is a compilation of books written through many distinct authors. lots of the books themselves are probable compilations written through many distinct authors (Genesis and Exodus, for instance). some believe Moses wrote the first 5 books, yet that is maximum in all likelihood legend because writing variety, vocabulary, and grammar fluctuate in the textual content. also, there are problems with persevering with good judgment for the time of, which betrays the probability that the first 5 books of the Bible were written through many distinct fingers. the hot testomony became also written through many distinct human beings, maximum in all likelihood in the course of the first century. even if, no human being has get precise of entry to to the unique records, we in undemanding words have copies of copies of copies of copies. each and each of those copies are distinct indirectly, so it isn't plausible to pin down precisely what the unique textual content says. we are able to in undemanding words approximate what the unique textual content suggested. So, in a experience, the Bible became 'corrupted' over the years of its written transmission through careless or theologically influenced scribes. If God did certainly inspire the Bible, why did not God then shelter the unique records so as that shall we comprehend what they suggested? My slump is that those are very human records, written through those with their own theological, social, and cultural biases. those texts, for my section, do element to God, yet they weren't authored through God. in simple terms my opinion even if. wish this helps somewhat.
