i bought this camera about a week ago in the middle of a trip and i took about 20 pix today and it says its full.
I had to take the pic quality down to economy, and reduced the size from 6mega pixel to 2 mega pixel, barely developable (if it's a word.) and I still couldnt fit even 30, so I took it down to VGB (640 x 480) it claims that the internal memory is only about 8 MB..
Whats my best option?
i thought of buying a memory card for this camera, but my camera isn't one of hte cameras that can use the memory cards that CASIO company offers. What should i do?

This was one of thr problems I was reading about this Camera's memory:

There is 8.3mb of storage built into the camera. Therefore a memory card is not supplied with the camera. I was able to take just four photos before the memory became full. This is very poor indeed. You are strongly advised to buy a high capacity card to go with the camera. It is compatible with both SD and MMC (Multimedia) cards:

I also found this:

Note that the specifications of the following CASIO Digital Camera models do not support the use of SD memory cards with a capacity greater than 1 GB. If you own one of these cameras, keep this limitation in mind when purchasing an SD memory card. Your model is included in this listing:

As for whether it is worth getting more memory? It depends how much use you get out of the camera and what you use it for.

Suggested High Speed SD Memory Card for this camera is the Panasonic (Matsushita) 256 MB card:

Hope this is os some help and what you were asking.

The place you bought the camera should have told you that buying a memory card is really mandatory. The internal 8 mb is just to get you started, or for emergency if your card gets full.

A 256 mb card will hold about 100 pictures at full 6 mp resolution. You can get one for $25 or less. Almost any brand of card is ok, just look in your manual for the correct type of card.

You can use a card reader and copy/paste the pics from the card to your pictures folder. You can plug your camera into your pc/laptop with the usb cord, put it in playback mode and use the supplied software, or if you don't want to use that software, you can let windows download it for you.
