See a doctor before changing your diet. There may be a medical reason why you have difficulty gaining weight. After his OK, and if he does not advise you otherwise, eat 3 healthy, balanced meals a day, and have three healthy snacks. Pay attention to your protein and vitamin intake. Ask the doc how many calories you should be eating. Healthy snacks are fruit, cheese, yogurt, nuts, peanut butter, fruit smoothies, sherbet, veggies that have calories added, like celery stuffed with peanut butter, an Ensure type product .Drink at least three glasses of 2% milk a day.
Try not to choose foods with empty calories, try to choose some with some nutrition. A milkshake is OK, it does have milk in it, but choose something to put in it besides chocolate syrup. Strawberry or banana are better choices.
Go on line and research diets. Some are perfect for you, others can be modified to fit your needs. Look under hypoglycemia diet. It talks about eating 6 meals a day, and when to eat them.

Don't try to eat super sized proportions of everything, just eat 3 healthy meals, three times a day that are full of natural vitamins and minerals.

DO NOT go and eat sugary and fatty foods hoping you will gain weight off of them, all you will succeed in doing is making yourself sick.

This weight might not be a problem, it might be natural, just as it is natural for some people to be a bit overweight at this age. At 13, your body is changing all the time. This might be natural for you and not a problem. Check with your doctor to make sure.

The weight might also have come from family history. If most of your family is thin and both of your parents are thin, it might just be encoded in your genes.

If it really does bother you, set up an appointment with your doctor and talk to them about it. They might be able to prescribe a medicine or give you tips on what to eat. They might also determine, by using your medical history and your families medical history, if it is natural for you at this age, or a problem.

Best Wishes and God Bless

If you want to gain weight and bulk up a little, why don't you do some weight lifting and kickboxing aerobics. You will look better with more muscles than bulk yourself with flab.
Honestly, I envy you. You can eat anything without gaining weight. Lots of women are willing to do anything to have your slim figure.
Be patient, anyway you are still young. Eventually, when you get older, your metabolism will slow down.
Maybe you can just wear something that will flatter your figure, I'm sure that will work out!

Just be glad your weight isnt out of control The other way... I'm 14 and I weigh 135 lbs. I dont look fat at all, but my weight's a little overboard. Try to eat fatty foods like McDonalds burgers if you want to gain weight.

You need to consult your doctor. I hate to give you that for an answer, but metabolism is something that can be effected very easily, it can flux. So if you try to tamper your metabolism or diet, you may not be happy with the reprocussions. Seriously. Talk to a doctor that can assist you in a healthier way to do, that won't effect your changing metabolism for life. At your age honey, your metabolism is going to be high, but that doesn't mean it will be forever.

First of all, have you gone to see your doctor? He/She can probably give you better advice then any of us. There are other foods besides junk food that can help you gain weight. Carbohydrates and protein are suppose to help you gain weight. Foods like bread, pasta, cheese. Still, I would strongly suggest you see you doctor. He/She can put you on an individualized plan that can safely help you gain weight. Good luck!

make smart/healthy food choices, don't just eat for the sake of eating. at you age your body is still maturing and you will see many changes in the coming years. If this is really a concern for you I would speak to your physician and see if he/she thinks it is necessary for you to gain weight for health reasons.

Mcdonalds, but why do you want to gain weight anyways. A large McDonalds Shake is over a thousand calories.
