Kudzu Root is a herb that stops cravings for alcohol in 50% of people who try it. It works very quickly often within 24 hours. You must take it daily though for several months though. You can buy it in capsule form. Follow the directions on the bottle.

When trying to stop the cravings for alcohol you must also manage your blood sugar levels. People recovering from alcoholism often have unstable blood sugar levels. If your blood sugar drops you are more likely to crave alcohol. Be sure to eat enough protein and try to eat 3 meals a day along with 3 small protein snacks to keep your blood sugar normal. You also need to take a high quality multi-vitamin and mineral compound everyday.

They put me on ANTABUSE. It don't stop cravings but it stops the drinking!! Even if you brush your teeth with toothpaste that has alcohol in it- you WILL get sick!! If I drank a beer it would make me get heat flashes and sometimes puke!!
It takes 2 weeks to get the pill out of your system so even if you wanted to drink you would have to wait 2 weeks before you could!!
Dangerous stuff. They only prescribe it to people that NEED to quit drinking!!
