I don't know about canadian stores but you can get reasonably good ones for fairly cheap. Try discount cosmetic stores, make sure you get one with ceramic plates, not metal.

I have a conair that Was like 25 dollars... It heats up fast and works really well for my curly hair!! I don't know about Canada, but you can go online to beauty stores to get one. It might cost a little more to have it shipped to where ever you live... But it's worth the extra penny.

I bought a ceramic flat iron 1" helen of troy type (in the states) at Sally Beauty store. they even had a $5 off coupon at the same time, and it came to $35., so that's almost in your price range. apparently they also have stores in canada, yeah for you!!!

Any beauty supply store has straightening irons. Just stick with a ceramic one, they cause less damage and eliminate frizz

Heck ya there are !!!

I went to a Rite Aid
after my salon straightener died on me that
I paid over 100 bucks for....
and I bought a Conair Straightner for 30
dollars...

Its just as good as the salon one I had if not better;)

Check Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS... etc

Try WalMart first, they have a big selection of eveything. If not there, the Canadian Super Store might be the answer. Good luck.
