Here you go I hope this helps! They're pretty easy but good.
Shanghai Noodles
Wonderful oriental side-dish. So quick and easy! I serve this with chicken or pork tenderloin marinated in Teriyaki sauce. Or you can add meat to the dish for a one-dish meal.
3 tablespoons oil
1-2 tablespoon sesame oil
2 cups shredded cabbage (or Chinese cabbage)
1/2 cup chopped green onions
8 ounces angel hair pasta
2-4 tablespoons soy sauce (to taste)
4 ounces sliced cooked chicken breasts (optional)
1 can bean sprouts, drained (optional)
4 servings 2 Main course servings
15 minutes 5 mins prep
Cook pasta according to package directions;drain.
Heat oil and sesame oil in skillet.
Saute cabbage and green onion for about 5 minutes.
Add pasta and soy sauce (also chicken and/or bean sprouts if desired) and heat through.

Chinese Pork/chicken Chow Mein Recipe
No need to order in chow mein, when you can make it yourself....this is so good, and not hard to prepare. This will become a favorite of yours.
1 1/2 lbs lean pork, or chicken thinly sliced
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 teaspoons sugar
5 tablespoons soy sauce, (divided)
3 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons shortening (Crisco is good)
2 cups water
1 1/2 cups sliced celery
1 cup onions, chopped or sliced
1 tablespoon molasses
1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts
1 lb bean sprouts (or more)
1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
salt and pepper
1 bunch green onions (optional)
toasted whole blanched almonds
4-6 servings
1 hour 30 minutes 30 mins prep
Cut meat into thin strips.
Combine 2 tbsp cornstarch with sugar, blend in 1 tbsp soy sauce and 2 tbsp oil; mix to blend.
Pour over pork strips;toss well to coat, marinade in mixture for 10 minutes.
In a wok, or large saute pan, brown the meat lightly on all sides in hot shortening.
Add remaining 4 tbsp soy sauce and 1-1/2 cups water; simmer, covered on low heat for 45 minutes.
Add in the celery and onions; simmer for 15 minutes more.
In a small bowl, blend in remaining cornstarch with 1/2 cup water; stir into meat mixture.
Add molasses, water chestnuts, bean sprouts and mushrooms; heat thoroughly.
Season with salt and pepper.
Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted almonds.

Chicken Chow Mein
INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
2 cups chopped celery
2 onions, chopped
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 (15 ounce) can baby corn
1/2 cup green beans
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/3 cup cold water
3 cups cooked, cubed chicken meat

DIRECTIONS:
In a wok or skillet, melt butter or margarine over medium heat. Add mushrooms, celery, onions and garlic powder; cook until the onions have wilted. Add chicken broth and baby corn. Continue cooking until celery is cooked but still crisp. Stir in the green beans or bean sprouts and soy sauce.
Mix cornstarch and water together in a small bowl. Slowly stir into vegetables. Sauce should start to thicken a little. Mix in chicken, and heat through.

go to a chinese restaurent and the fat noddle is chow foon ir rice noddle. and chow mein is vegs
