If you have an answer; great! If you just want to say something you feel, don't bother writing, it doesn't do anything. If someone asks something about Iraq, don't say they are going to die.

If someone asks something about an activity you find worthless, or offensive, excersise some maturity and don't preach to them.

My next question I guess would be, "Why do people make statements instead of questions in their details section....."

Your question bugs me...I was preparing a list of all the possible reasons idiots answer with a non-answer, like "I don't know" and "Read the Bible." (these are two of the more popular answers here, illustrating tremendous depth of knowledge and thought). I especially like the "answers" that many questions get in the very specific catagories. Someone will write an effective question, and I see the answers, "I hate gay people," or "Geez, ugg!. And I especially like the advice given those who are having marital problems. Of these answers, "Divorce him/her" seems to be the number one sage advice given. And of course, there are the math problems where 50 people will give the same answer. (Once is never enough???) Well, I seem to have answered this question with a Non-answer...see how far I have come, congratulations are due me...pat, pat, pat.

Hmmm maybe they are just bored,
figured since they read the question
why not give their two cents, and earn
a whopping 2 yahoo points ;) lol

Because people need to be heard,
and dont really take this to seriously
there not being tested, quized, and
anyways youll always find that....
In forums, chat rooms, classrooms,
If not for the ignorant we couldnt have
the intelligent ;)

I guess thats my answer :D

They are not exactly answering the question because they only want the 2 points.

maybe people do this because they are opinionated and dont have anything better to do with their time...or they think they know everything and everyone else needs their input....their are way too many arrogant people in this world

people make statements to help other people understand their question. sometimes questions aren't that simple.

BTW, you made statements in your details section!!!!

i think that a good idea to stop this happening it's that Y!Answer take off the points system....ppl just don't get that those points are NOT money so they answer crap just to get points....whatever, just my opinion

they are"venting" at the screen or they are so disturbed at your question that they just have to give a unasked for opinion.
