if you want to think of a wizard flinging a fireball at a dragon or some similar trappings of novel and Hollywood fair then there is no such thing and don't worry about it.

Wiccan and Pagan are NOT satanic. They are totally separate from anything that has to do with hatred. Wiccans follow what is called the Wiccan Reede in which it states 'harm ye none.' To go along with that if a Wiccan uses any magic to harm it comes back to them three times worse. Don't listen to any narrow minded idiots who tell you it's wrong. There is nothing wrong with being curious about other religions. There are many books out there to help you really know what Wicca and Paganism are. I would suggest a trip to the library or local bookstore to find out more.

Wiccan and Paganism isn't satanic, they are very ancient religions that date back to the beggining of time. Paganism is a very earth based religion that believes everything is sacred and there must be a balance to the earth (good for bad, light for dark, etc) Gaia is the mother goddess of the religion and is representitive of the earth herself. You must give back for what you take (which is why people are burried after death, to give back to the earth that which she provided) Wicca is an energy based religion, you deal with more 'lively' forces and the five points of the pentagram earth, aire, fire, water, spirit. all must be in balance for the universe to work with you. You can pull upon energies of each element to help you on a certain task and then when it is needed of you, to give the energy back.

both are a very 'spiritual' based religion and many of the christian holidays and a few beliefs are based upon the age old pagan holidays... beltane, samhain, winter solstace, summer solstace, these are all old pagan holidays dating back to ancient greece before christianity was the mass conformed religion. the druids practiced pagan beliefs and were revered for thier knowledge of the earth.

'witchcraft' is a way of focusing your own energy and physical form into a 'power' you can use to help aide you in a certain task.. wether it's to focus your thoughts on certain task, or help to see yourself in a new light... it's all about pulling from yourself what it is you need to see... there's nothing satantic about any of it... those that see it as that are ill-educated and naive.

I am a Pagan and I study many different pagan religions and I have also studied christianity. I just want to say I do not worship satan never have never will and Paganism ( nature based religion) has been around long before Christianity do research.

I trace my relgion back to the days before Christ, and Moses, to the pre Indoeuropean religion days and their destruction of the Goddess Worship. Yes. Wicca is a made up, phony religion. And one of the sources they draw heavily from is satanism. Quite literally, wicca is of satanic origin.
