I've heard that Weling on vehicles with Electronic Ignition can cause damage to the Vehicle, how true is this. I will be Welding with a Wire Feed Welder near the rear bumper and front bumper.

Yes, always disconnect the battery when welding on a vehicle to avoid damaging the electronics. Remember to disconnect the negative terminal NOT the positive one.

Yes, I'd disconnect the battery, alternator, ignition module, and computer if it has one. Far better safe than sorry! Welding on a vehicle with complex electronics CAN damage things!

I have heard that you should disconnect the battery. You have a computer could be damaged by the voltage. Why risk it.
