Laws are meant to establish social paradigms of conduct. Sociology states that it is impossible for every individual to behave according to standarts in a society. In simple words, there will always be someone who will break the law, or behave incorrectly. Marijuana, if used moderately and according to the "correct" standarts (medicine for example), is harmless, but since it is impossible for every individual to follow the same path of correct behavior, we conclude that there would always be misuses of marijuana...and there's where laws enter...to ensure that a majority behaves well.

Also...laws are always broken...if you abolish a law that is broken so often, you would only increase that illegal conduct.

decriminalized at the very least. The War on Drugs has never been won and never will be. People will find a way to get high.

Actually, hemp is pretty useful for alot of things. Our crazy anti-pot government has killed off alot of revenue generating possibilities for Hemp w/out THC.

If the gov't could regulate is they would legalize it. But since its to easy to grow and everyone could they cant regulate so they will keep is illegal to keep the money flowing in from the fight against drugs. Personally legalize it. Theres no proof its a gateway drug and its not physically addictive.

Yes, legalize it. But make Booze and cigarette illegal.
First off marijuanna isn't physically addictive at all. It's only emotionally addictive and that's really easy to break.
Secondly, the revenues alone from regulating and taxing it would eleviate our deficit.
Thirdly, the only reason booze and cigarettes are legal is because of the money they generate. Those things can actually kill you which marijuanna cannot.

I think marijuana should be legalized but in a controlled situation.
They have these places in Denmark where you go in, purchase
your drugs, take them(you can only buy what you can smoke,
snort, or shoot at the time), and go in their recovery room so you
can sober up. You cannot take any drugs with you. I think if
marijuana was taken in that situation then it should be legalized.
