the screen says pop3 cannot be found. Your incomming server is stmp your out going is pop 3.. Should I just give up & go back to explorer ? Im tired of all the hassels

You need to enter your e-mail settings into Mozilla. You need to find out what your ISP's mail server addresses are.

Sorry, I don't have a specific answer but persevere. Fire fox and the companion Thunder bird e mail programme plus the available plug ins and extensions are really good. I recently switched from IE and outlook express.

When I changed and installed these programmes the set up wizard did it all. Hope someone gives you a specific lead to follow.

who are you trying to use as a pop3 account? yahoo mail? normally you can't do that in a free account. but this page will show you how you can do that with outlook express. i haven't tried it myself so i don't know how hard it might be for a beginner.

i dunno if this will help you out but your internet settings from IE has to be the same as your Mozilla one. I use mozilla all the time and I love it. Im very glad I got out of microsoft IE. I do know it has something to do with your settings. Hope this helps =D

well.. cox has a really good virus/ spam thing.. but you have to be signed up with cox to get it.. it's been working for me
