I think you got the "rapture" part backwards. They want that, they are waiting for it.

Then you have to get PETA's permission before you can nail the groundhog to a cross. Don't hold your breath.

Oh, and don't forget the masses that will follow phil around to see if he can see his shadow, only he can't because they are blocking the sun.

There are all sorts of insanity. Religion is only one of them.

Too late. Mormons already did that. Very similar. But they went with ghosts, angels, golden plates, and Native Americans instead of groundhogs. Much more believable.

Joseph got lots of wives, booze, and money out of the deal too. Is that why you're starting your religion? To get wives and booze?

I think, by your questions/insults, that you need to read a little more about why they do believe. Yes, God is a rediculous concept now a days, but these people are followers, deeply wrapped up in their delusions. It's their leaders you should be questioning. A more respectful approach would get you farther.

A new religion does not sound good unless it is a renewal of the Christian religion (like the New Jerusalem or New Church).

The fact is that Jesus's whole life is an example to you.

Nah, I think I'll just let you use YahooAnswers as your choice of forum to berate and belittle them for your selfish reasons and your personal enjoyment and I'm not even Christian. Why don't you practice and progress and learn from your own religion and stop trying to start a holy war or something.

You obviously haven't read about the FSM. He is the all-knowing Creator.

Otherwise known as the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

No but your right .You have enough proof as evolution and most religions. He would have to be a dead groundhog for people to believe.

I don't think so!! Christians have a basis for their religion, namely, the Bible and the Muslims have the Quran. Not as insane as you say!! It's really quite real and inspirational!!

Maybe you will now agree.

Does the groundhog promise me a sh*tload of virgins? If so, I'm in!
