maybe hes going to surprise you or something like that but if you want to confront him about it then try and make hints about your birthday like if you two go out somewhere and you see something tell him hey i would love something like that for my BIRTHDAY or if you two are out eating you should say something like oh yum i love this food i would love to have this food for my BIRTHDAY just try and hint it alot and look at his reaction

How can you assume that someone has forgotten something that hasn't happened yet. Just casually mention your birthday, if he cares, he will do something before he leaves, or call you the day of and promise to do something when he gets back. Get over yourself. Not every event in life is a test of someones love for you. Maybe the family trip is exciting or stressful and he has his own things to worry about at the moment.

OPTIONS
1. tell him and what he'll do is send a gift to you and tell you to spend your b-day with family and friends
2. He's probably just kidding about the family trip if he really cares about you and then he'll send you a gift and spend time with you on your b-day (birthday I'm assuming) and after your birthday party at around 11 pm you and your "BF" can do it.
3. Don't tell him and if he does skip it, cry to mercy forever if you also truly care about him.

Remind him now. Be gentle. Guys just aren't wired to put the same level of importance on birthdays as Gals are. Forgetting a birthday has absolutely no relation to how much he loves you. He just forgot, its that simple.

You have to at least give him the benefit of the doubt. This might all be a set up and he may be planning to suprise you. If he really does forget, then you can put him in the doghouse and lock the door.

If you wait until later, you can bring it up every time you have an argument for the rest of your life. Women are good at that.

tell him when he gets back he might be planning on getting you something where ever he is going but maybe you should kinda remind him like saying "do you know whos b-day's coming up" and see what he says!

I say that you not tell him. Maybe its all part of his plan to make you think that he forgot. Relax!

Say something like, " I can't wait till my birthday!!" Don't forget to say when it is like... next week or Saturday.
