I believe in God, but DO NOT believe in satan, hell or evil.
The concepts of good and evil and sin are morality judgments and are purely human constructs designed by early church leaders to control the masses through fear-based lives.
Satan was created by early humanity to explain away such things as famine, disease, death, pestilence and natural disasters until science evolved enough to explain these events.
God is all-loving and living a life of joy and gratitude, living a love-based life, even (especially?) when horrid things happen, is the best thing you can do to with the life we've been given.

You've overlooked a few important details. For one thing, God gave all His creatures free will, including Satan. It wasn't in accordance with His wishes that Satan become evil, but it was His will that made it possible. Just as it's not His will that you be an atheist, but it's His will that makes that possible too. He judges evil to be a price worth paying in order to give His creatures a truly free choice. It's an unavoidable thing, but it matters that much to Him. If you grant that He has perfect wisdom (and no God worthy of the name could lack it), I hardly see how you could disagree with His conclusion on that point. As to the point that He has never been seen or heard. . . what you really mean is, He's never been seen or heard by you or anybody you personally know. There are quite a few people who claim to have seen and talked to Him throughout history, and unless you'd already decided He doesn't exist, you have no way of knowing whether those stories are true or not.

Yes, I believe in God, and I can support it. I can't see oxygen, but I know it's there. I work in the medical field, and have seen things that I can't explain. I have seen people who are still alive to this day who should be dead. It's a simple matter of faith. Also, the bible does point out several instances where God is heard, and at least one or two where he is seen in some form or another. If you aren't one for believing the Bible (I myself do not take everything in the book literally.) Then just look around you. Everything had to have got here somehow, and most scientific explanations just don't cut the mustard.

The Lucifer idea is true - but not all things that appear bad to us are truly bad. From a purely Hellenistic philosophy, how can one know good without a bad to reference to good? Besides, it was Lucifer's pride that was his downfall. God knew it would happen, that is true. But like all of us, Satan had free will and chose to misuse it. You may disagree but you don't see the whole picture - none of us does.
And as far as God never being seen nor heard, how do you know? You have never seen or heard Him, but I have. Everyone expects to see a burning bush like Moses but most don’t know what to look for. If you are like I was for most of my adult life (until I was 38), your cynicism and arrogance will block you from seeing the truth until you find that it fails you or until you die. In the mean time, have a good life and I pray that you will become willing to learn and accept beyond your own limited view.

Well just like you said he knew,Why ? Because it was in his plan. Our Father had plan from the beginning for all man kind to have a choice , for all of his creation to chose, even Satan and he also knew that we would want to do our way but unlike him we have to see where our decisions will bring to us and see that we are lost without him and evil with our thoughts and doing. As for seeing all you have to do is look into Bible prophecies they where put so that you may believe and know that he has set it from the beginning.I will ask you to check out the prophecy of the Temple to be rebuilt for the last day. And how this Temple would be built next to another building something that wouldn't be possible for any one to know at that time in history and see how they plan to rebuilt this Temple with what is written in the Bible. Check out Ezekiel 40:1-5 talks about the wall that will separate the two temple from the other. So you can say that this is the voice you have heard telling you, but you have not listen to the voice of your Father.

You don't have to see or hear God to believe in it. Try to read about the several prophet's miracles stories. You have to feel the presence of God in your heart. Otherwise why should almost all people believe and pray? they can't be wrong! It's all about knowing that the universe is created by God. People who die, God choose their destiny. Put in your mind that he sees and knows everything that you do, and that the final day, when everyone dies, you will get punished of bad things that u did to people! Being nice and avoiding doing bad things means that you do believe in God.

well.........i'm a strong believer in God!...and like you said he created Lucifer or what ever u wanna call sata.....anyhow, life is all good, and all bad....u cannot have the positive without the negative, it won't make any sense.
You need to see the rainbows in order to know that there was rain!
Its true that we can't see God, but we can't see satan too.....he is said to play with our minds and leads us to sin.....well, we can't see air, and we know that if we don't breathe we will die.......it's called faith!!! when we can't prove what we can't see, and we still believe, we call it faith!
I am one of those stupid people if you wanna call it that that believe's in God. Just like i believe that the rainy days are followed by good, and shiny days. I believe in miracles cause they happened to ME!!!!!
I believe that GOD has a purpose for each and everyone of us, and i am living proof!..........
God exists, and whether or not he created satan doesn't really matter to me, cause i know he created him for a reason...and the reason is to see who will follow, and who will not.....and i'm afraid u, right now, are not one that follows...i just wish that someday, you will be blessed with a miracle like i have to believe!!!
God Bless you

He also created man and He saw what man will do. So do I not then believe what I see and every human being who has done cruelty and harm to the world and people actually don't exist?
You never seen or heard? You breathe don't you? Can you see it? Can you feel it? But it exists, doesn't it.
When someone's house is burgaled, and people go to their home and no thief is around but evidence is there, it is done. They BELIEVE its been burgaled. Robbed.
Well, check out YOU then. You got brains, eyes, legs, you breathe, you live. Evidence is there. You got sky. Go on. Tell anyone here to create a living sky. Actually how about the tree by firs designing the seed and before you do that, do the earth first, and the solil and its billions of molecules, and so forth.
He created the good and bad, so that you get the real you out. The one who got guts. The one who who prcrastinates to become a man of action. The one who complains to the one who fights backs and sees, its his or her habits that make them who they are.
Man, you can't have rainbows with rain. So we can't have good without hard time because we like the way we are, don't appreciate when something is just given to us.
Like the way He has given people life and still, they don't appreciate, reflect on that.
Heroes don't become one without adversity. Valour doesn't come without risks. Warriors don't become one without facing who they are and change.
Satan exists and yeah, he has power, but so has God, and He put him there to see who will rise up and be the best one can be. He's challenging you, every human being to stand up and be who they really are and stop being scared of anything.
But hey, anyting hard, yep, lets say, "It's God's fault." Or, "He doesn't exist because poverty around the world." It's happening for you and all of us to wake up and make the difference because Paradise has a price on its head. It's not for anyone but for those who are not selfish, who are strong in faith, who really want to make a difference, who want to change, who know that they are tested for a reason - to find who they are for real.
Your proof of Him not existening is flawed but hey, that's your opinion and like always, respected but challenged.

I didn't know about the Bible until I read the original writings of Emanuel Swedenborg.
I hate to mention the name of a person but I am not ashamed that I had to read doctrine first. There are so many explanations out there I have to give the credit to where it is due and point out the direction I went through.

God is all powerful and all knowing meaning he knows all things. So if you want to know if God exist all you have to do is ask simply in a sincere way God I really need to know your there or that you exist. i promise you in his time you will know the answer to that simple plea to God. God did not create Satan he created himself God never enfringes upon our free agency Satan chose to become the enemy of God and to us all. Lucifer son of the morning was one of Gods spirit children just like we all are but Lucifer chose he CHOSE to become evil and to deny God and God cast him and 1/3rd of the host of heaven to the earth . They will never have bodies, families nothing but to try to get us to sin and turn from God. i know God lives i have felt his arms around me during a very hard time in my life. I know Jesus Christ is the Son of God and you learn these things through spiritual experience not learning from a book.
