Especially in matters as important as their Religious or Spiritual Beliefs? I realize that it is hard to be convinced by anyone that does not have sufficient proof, but most people can't even admit when the other guy 'has a good point' or when 'their MIGHT be a possibility'. I've always thought that Humanity had two major flaws...

1. Anybody can say anything anywhere, anytime no matter how wrong they are, how big of a lie it is, or how little they actually believe what they're saying. If a person wanted to, Hell, they could just start spoiting out random words and sounds with no meanings whatsoever.

and

2. Humans have a very limited scope of awareness, so they can't see how much pain they cause themselves by being so Prideful, pompus, and arrogant.

The more I come in here, the more I realize that anarchists are unpleasant little people that make for terrible company.

A few things I feel ned to be pointed out.
1) Noone every does anything wrong from their point of view at the time they do it. it is a psyhcological impossibility.
2) Everyone has been wrong about something, and will be wrong in the future, statistically speaking. It is impossble to be act perfectly and correctly in every moment. This is what makes us work, because as we individually learn what is right, we collectively grow and improve toward achieving our next societal goal.
3) you need to learn how to write html if you want to be a good presenter and have people listen to you. To start with, you don't need to write a whole new page for each screen size. There is automatic screen resizing code available.
4) you need to learn humility if you want to be an interesting presenter and have people want to hear your thoughts. Your opening text on your page is, to quote your question above, "... so Prideful, pompus, and arrogant."
5) I am an anarchist, in a non-conventional non-chaos promoter kind of way, in that I appreciate peaceful times (which government provide through law and order), but also value my freedom (which government impinges on so they can enforce law and order). An anarchist government may be the best way to solve such dialemma, but I'm open to other suggestions.
6) The two flaws you mentioned are rights of freedom, and while it may be slightly unpleasant to encounter someone who is clearly wrong, I respect that persons right to choose to be wrong so they can learn for themself what is right. Scope of awareness is by definition limited, because omnicience is impossible, so an outsider is sometimes needed to kindly and gently point out what they are being is not what works, with a few reliable facts to back it up. If they hear the same thing from enough people it will eventually sink in that they are wrong. Conversely, being told they are right has the opposite effect, so don't try and convert a member of a large group, as it's futile. Even sufficient proof will not be effective in many cases, unfortuantely for them. Check my other answers for details about the realistic anarchistic goverment.

"Humanity had two major flaws... Anybody can say anything anywhere, anytime no matter how wrong they are" So, freedom of speech is a problem?

"how big of a lie it is" Actually, if you lie directly about somebody, you can be sued.

"how little they actually believe what they're saying" It's called devil's advocate. Sometimes it takes playing this role to strengthen your beliefs. Otherwise, you don't know why you believe what you believe other than 'somebody told me to think that way;.

To answer your main question, yes, I expect people to admit when they are wrong. It shows that they are flexible, have a propensity towards intelligence and learning, and it shows humility. If more people listened to each other and used that information to expand their views, the world would be a much better place.

A person involved in error can present a thousand arguments to assure the people that he is honestly convinced of the disbelief, atheism or polytheism, which he professes and follow, but his own conscience is never unaware of why he persists in that creed and what; in fact, prevents him from understanding and admitting its error and falsity.
An unjust, wicked, dishonest, immoral and corrupt person can even suppress the voice of his own conscience by inventing one or another excuse so that it may stop reproaching him and should be satisfied that he is doing whatever he is doing only because of certain compulsions, expediences and genuine needs, but despite this he has in any case the knowledge of what wrong he has committed against a certain person, how he has deprived another of his rights, how he deceived still another and what unlawful methods he used to gain what he has gained. Therefore, at the time when one appears in the Court of the Hereafter, every disbelieve, every hypocrite, every wicked person and culprit will himself be knowing what he has done in the world and for what crime he stands before his God.

No most wouldn't because then they would have to abolish the GP and become Democrats. As a matter of fact a Committee of Republicans for Obama was created, and some of it's members were Gen olin Powell, former Solicitor General Charles Fried, and former Ambassador Rita Houser, and many more.

Wow, what a question...... I cant say that I have the answer but, I give give it a go.

I find it very interesting when people are discussing religion and politics. I have observed that people wont or cant admit they are wrong as it is what they believe to be true. Yes there are some aspects of both those subjects that are factual although people tend to just go with what they have been raised to believe. Some even fight tooth and nail.... as they believe that THEY know.

Hope this was helpful.

This is way to long for me to read and understand the point you're making, but I'm a scientist and I've decided to leave the religion science debate alone especially after all the drama I've been dealing with today. Additionally I'm pretty open minded and admit when I'm wrong and I'd rather leave the debate to the extremists.

I must agree with you that humans have a limited scope of awareness. However, the older you become you start to realize just what is important. And, hopefully develop love for your fellow mankind. Pride never got anyone anywhere. We all need to be quiet, listen and think instead of just running our mouths.

Case in point: you admit that religious and spiritual beliefs are important, so you must have some. You fault people for saying things that are wrong, for lying, and for not believing what they say, for being pompous, prideful and arrogant. Then you identify yourself as a Powerful Member of the House of Light.
How interesting.

No, I don't expect anyone to admit they are wrong. But, it is funny to watch people like you waste so much time pondering it and typing long questions no one reads. You have been obsessing about this way to long. Get a girlfriend man. It is all fun and good. Have a sense of humor. Read the answers and really think how serious we are.

Have a splendiferous day

You said a mouthful, but let me just say that I admit that I'm wrong pretty often. I like to try to be humble and I enjoy when a more intelligent being teaches me something new. I don't know if thats the kind of answer you're looking for, but I wish you luck.
