Of all the wonderful things that Jesus did and said when he walked this earth, the jews had no problem with - except one, his identity. They couldn't except that he is trully the son of God. This is what led to him being hated even to the point of being killed. They reasoned with him when he asked them, " Of the good things that I've done for which do you want to stone me?". Their answer was "For a good work we don't stone you, but you being a man make yourself equal with God".

They just couldn't reconcile with him on the very important issue - his identity.

But why? Why really?

We have heard our whole lives, or as long as we have studied the Bible, that He would not be accepted in his own town. There is a spiritual reason for this, God allows the Jews to be spiritually blinded so that His prophesies will be fulfilled. He made the rules and the story is still being told. Just because he died on the cross 2,000 years ago doesn't mean the story is over. There are prophecies that still haven't been fulfilled and in the New Testament - Revelations it sais that He has a plan for all of His people, the Jews. They are a big part of the last book of the Bible. If you wonder why they simply don't get it, it's because God is in control of His chosen people. You could also ask why some other groups of people don't simply accept Him as their savior, ' believe with your heart, confess with your mouth......... ' it's because there is a super natural (if you will) veil covering their eyes. God only allows the whole truth to be revealed to His children (the body of Christ). He chooses whom He will. You can only come into the body of Christ if you are called. That's why he told US (His children) to seek and you'll find. He didn't tell that to the sinners, He told that to the believers. The Jews have a very important part to play in the end times, after the rapture.

1. Jesus was a Jew
2. Jesus was sent to save JEWS (no one else until a gentile showed her ultimate love and faith.)
3. Even the meeting at Nicea was a battle for the proclamation of "Son of God".....some believe God and Man are two separate entities and should stay that way.(btw, many believe this is where the mistranslation of "young woman" to "virgin" was made to help followers of the god Attis convert to christianity)
4. Many believe the prophecies for the Messiah were never truly met and therefore Jesus was a messenger for God, but not his son or the Messiah

Truth is relative. Well, when you say that Jesus is the son of God that is your belief and true to you. But not everybody believes this. The Jewish religion doesn't recognize Jesus as the son of God so there for to them this is not so, for them at the time Jesus was a man that made himself equal to God. Islam only recognizes Jesus as a prophet. Since you can't scientifically prove to others that Jesus is the son of God, because it's a matter of faith, then you'll never be able to convince Jewish people. Also a Jewish person by definition doesn't believe in Christ as the son of God because then he would be a Christian.

Here is my understand of it:
God in the Old Testament promised the Jews a Messiah who will come and established His kingdom in Israel and save the Jews from the Roman Emperors. God sent Jesus who was the Messiah and the Jews never accepted Him as the Messiah they were waiting for because He did not established His kingdom like the Jews were hoping for. Instead Jesus established Christianity and the church is His Kingdom. Until today the Jews are waiting for that Messiah who will come amids them and rule the Jews.

For one thing - they will not get past nor except a Trinity Concept of God and in the Torah there is no mention of the Messiah being a God man.

Jesus is not a Trinity God - and one day they will see this - THEN - they will explore and believe, but by no means will they except a Paganized Roman Catholic idea of a Triune God.

They could not accept Jesus because they did not really Know God. If they had they would have known God is a spirit, and His Son was Anointed with Gods Spirit and was the Messiah, The Christ, The first Anointed. Mary was a Maiden unmarried young woman. they did not know about Artificial insemination. so how could they understand The Anointing of God.

Because there was absolutely no evidence that he was the son of God. A bunch of politicians had to gather at the Council of Nicea and take a vote as to whether Jesus was the son of God so they could gain more power over the people. We already know that politicians can't be trusted!

Can you accept today that Jesus is Jewish no matter how or when he died and He teached to Jews since in that area were no other ppl and you should simply convert your self to Jewish before accept Jesus?
GO back to history and read. And as for the who killed him. Look again in the BIble. Romans Did. And who are ROmans today? Vatican? POPE? Same ppl who crucified him. Jews never had crucifiction. It was your own choice to kill Jesus.
Therefore GOD exists.

Jesus was an arrogant jerk! His mom was a skank and got knocked up and told everyone god did it. The truth is some guy didn't pull out and now she has to explain to her husband that has to have serious blue balls by now, how she got knocked up. So, she lies and says god did it and has the nerve to tell her son that. So, of course the little inbred freak tells everyone that and now we are stuck with Chrisianity- The religion based on a slut who couldn't control her hormones.

the jews of jesus day were afraid that the romans would destroy them because of the zelots, whom jesus and his followers were affiliated with.
jesus was going to be the king and he must have been the heir to david's throne, because the jews were afraid he'd get them all killed by the romans.. the romans crucified jesus for crimes against the roman empire. even with jesus out of the way the liberation movement continued till the romans put it down in the early 70s ce.
