I have a online class and i don't have the book, so are there any websites that i could go to that will give me a summary of the chapters? I've already tried CliffNotes.com......... I didn't work :(

If the book is famous it ought to be on www.sparknotes.com and also try www.pinkmonkey.com. They give you summary of all chapters. I love them both. They are just so useful for people like me that don't like reading books..

See if you can find the book in the public library.
Oftentimes, there is a summary at the end of each chapter. Read that. If there are questions at the end of the chapter read them. You could look at the topic sentences of each paragraph or sub heading to give you the main idea.

Depending on the book, you may be able to download the full copy as an ebook from bittorrent or limewire

Maybe Amazon...they have excerpts...think thats spelled wrong..but close enough..Usually have an editors review that is good..or type your book title into Google and go from there
