I heard that high satiety food can help fill you up so you won't eat as much?

eat things like apples and celery they take mroe calories to eat them then there are in them so you lose calories by eating them

also drink a lot of water to fill you up

Evidently protein is a high-satiety (fullness feeling) food. This was a recent article on Netscape.

However, in my opinion, you can't do better than water. Fewer calories, good for you, and it makes you feel full. Of course, there are those side effects when you have too much . . . :o)
