Yes, there is and yes, it was. We have always had a choice. Eve didn't HAVE to eat the fruit. She CHOSE to eat the fruit. As a result, women suffer during childbirth. You can either choose to believe in God, or you can choose not to. See where I'm going with this?

Man's free will was a gift given to him by God, it was part of God's plan for us to come to this earth, have our Free Will and make choices, because it is the only fair way to see who will follow him. By giving us free will we make the choice weather or not to follow God, no one else, not even God. It is one of the greatest gifts we've been give, but if misused it can be a cursing. But at least we will know that it is our free choice.

This has been debated forever.
There is free will, God created us with the ability to "choose" and make choices. Just because God knows what we will choose doesnt mean that we dont still have the choice

There is free will, I choose not to steal. or to kill people.
Quote: Time and unforseen events effect us all" from the bible
He choose Saul to rule as king, later he turned wicked and fell out of favor with god.
Solomon was loved by God
Then he was rejected because of false worship.
God didn't know Satan was going to be Satan
That's called free will. A man becomes a thief when he steals.

The bible's God does not support free will. He does not support freedom of speech (no blasphemy) nor freedom of religion or other beliefs (no other gods allowed). So basically, the bible's God would throw the majority of Americans in a lake of fire.

Supposedly. But the question is since God knows everything including every free decision you will ever make, how is it truly free will?

ZCT completed the question and this topic is very deep, yet if we do not have free will, then why God judges us.
This way we have a free will to choose
