or you could first find the place that will process it and ask them for film, they probably have some too.

Do you mean real black and white film or things like Ilford XP2 which is a color film with just one color: black. In that case any minilab can process it with standard C41 process

You can find B&W film at many more "professional" processing centers - the ones some proffessionals go to. May be in your yellow pages under film prossesing.
