Maybe. But don't assume that it is, because if it isn't, and it comes around in our lifetime, you won't recognize it for what it is.

Lot of Christians have thought so for a while...pretty much since barcodes came in, in fact. It was the means by which "no man shall buy nor sell without..."

I hate the idea of biometric ID chips with an absolute passion, and through my job, was lucky enough to recently meet a CEO of a firm that makes them. I asked him about the ethics of his work, and his response was to shrug and say "We only make the bomb - we're not the ones who drop it".

There is already a lot of talk about putting all sorts of information together on one chipped card - bank machine access, passport, social security number, ID, etc - all of it containing your unique biometric information. So it'll not only replace the means by which "man shall buy and sell" but also the means by which he is permitted to travel, about which a born-again friend of mine tells me there's also a reference in Revelations.

None of which proves that it's the "Devil's work" or the "Mark of the Beast"...just a violation of the balance between the individual and the State. Rational as I am though, it always makes me nervous when people who believe in Revelations start looking smug or talking about the Rapture and the End of Days, especially when they have a prophecy that appears to mirror real-world events.

I'm nervous now.

The Bible says that no man will be able to buy or sell without the number of the Beast IN their right hand or IN their forehead.
The Bible says 'six hundred, three-score, and six.
A score is twenty.
Three-score is sixty.
That, my friend, is 666.
IN the right hand, or IN the forehead.
RFID implant devices are now being injected into humans right now as we speak.
Will you be next?

NO! The mark of the beast will be on those who do not obey the Laws of God. The mark will be seen by God and His Son and the heavenly host. Those who keep Gods Laws willnot actually see a mark but they will know who has it.
Ex 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a mark between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
Ex 31:17 It is a mark between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
When does forever end?

probable no longer, loopy human beings back contained in the day concept that the idea of charge playing cards became the mark of the beast. in case you study the prophecies you would possibly want to take the mark pledging your allegiance to the anti - christ. in case you're taking a monitoring chip for something else, its no longer the mark of the beast.

Ive heard so many theory about what is....and who is...666 thats its redundant now. When the time for the true representation of 666 appears, you will know. The bible didnt say we would be tricked into accepting it. It will be a choice.

Here is the story: Jesus comes and takes his people, right? The people that's left still has the chance to go to Heaven, but its going to be tough. For one thing, if you want to eat you will have to take the mark of the beast which is burned into your hand or forehead. However, if you do take the mark you are destined for hell...............OK, I think that's how it goes.

No. It's a numerological (gamatria) code in John of Patmos' Revelation (apokalipsis, "unveiling") for "Neron Caesar," the Emperor Nero, and "Nero Redivivus," Domitian, who revived the Neronic persecution of Christians. It's not prophecy; it's political satire. 95 CE style.

Some fundamentalists think so. The day they want to put one of those in me, I'm going off the net and disappearing into the mountains with lots of guns.

666 took place in the first century and has nothing to do with today unless, you've never read or researched on your own.
