Well, have you ever broken a rule and your parents made a whole new set of rules because of it?

Since you’re not saying...I'm guessing you did something you were not suppose to be doing (smile)? Look, we all make mistakes. The first thing you should do is try admitting your mistakes. I know this can be hard but be honest with yourself and don’t' make any excuses. Next, put yourself in their shoes just for a minute. How would you feel if you had a kid who did the same exact thing you did??? Before you answer think about it!! I'm a parent also and I work with young people (Great Career) it's hard making choices for your kid but ultimately you only want the best for them. I always tell my son "It may hurt me now but it will hurt you later". Fess up, write the essay, stay out of trouble and for PETES SAKE enjoy the rest of your your summer.

You can do it! Is this an assignment for school- summer school?..or is this some kind of a consequence- a punishment? Either way....writing an essay is a good way to improve your writing skills and thought process.....have a dictionary handy. Each word that you look up in a dictionary has a higher chance to remain in your brain forever. Remember that writing is written "spoken" and "proper" English. And please drop the "gots"...where did you hear that way of using the word "got"? In fact try to not use the word "got" altogether....instead use the word "have" or "receive" "or "I was given..."....Avoid repetitions....

First: I have to write an essay. Not "gots" - and second - maybe this is one thing that you should actually think about and do on your own so that you can learn from your assumed mistakes.
