to Powerturtle, I never read or watched The Davinci Code book or movie, I am a conservative Muslim living in Saudi Arabia, my main aim thru asking this question is to make you guys remember that God is not Jesus and Jesus is not God, because God is not a man nor a son of man.. as in the chapter of Numbers

Jesus didn't have a wife and he had no children. If he had he would've put them in the care of someone when he was on the cross as he did his mother. Even if he did have children they would not be worshiped.

I just wanted to post two web sites. The first is called BibleGateway.com where you can look up the texts in the web site mentioned above. Since you're asking the questions, I'm assuming you don't know your way through the Bible. This web site makes it really easy to search the scriptures. The second is a seminar series that took place a year or two ago and answers a most questions that people have about God, Jesus, and Christianity.

Also I don't believe that Jesus had children because when He rose from the dead He stayed 40 more days with His disciples and then ascended to Heaven. It would be totally out of character for Jesus to father children and then become a dead-beat dad. It would also not be part of His purpose for coming to earth. He came to teach us how to live and especially to die for us. He is now in Heaven continuing to work on our behalf (Hebrews 8).

I am one of Gods Children, Adopted through the adoption of Jesus. The trinity is a Catholic Word , maybe from being Baptized in the Name ( Authority of ) the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. To have the salvation of the son , and the Baptisim of the Holy Spirit, God inhabits his Praises. You then see the Father & the Children. This is all Spiritual not in the Flesh. Nothing about God or Jesus are any longer Flesh, Jesus was in the Flesh and Died. He rose from the Dead a New Creature even his discipals did not recognize quickly. And he went into rooms when doors and windows were Closed. Thomas Thrust his fingers through the Side of Jesus there was no flesh there.

this is a bogus question and you are just poking fun at Christians. First of all Dan Brown is a liar, he is very good at making fiction sound like fact. In the Bible (which you won't take as a reliable source) does talk about the Trinity. It talks about the Father in heaven (when Jesus is talking to His disciples), Jesus (obviously He said He was the son of God and proved it when He rose again), and the one that would come when Jesus left (The Holy Spirit) Jesus did not have children that were protected by a secret society and live in France. The guy that found the "original document" that talked about the Priory of Scion admitted to forging it and put in in the French archives. Check it out and don't ask anymore stupid questions like this one

A lot of the older gnostic gospels have the Trinity as the Father ,Mother, and the Son.While in the Bible it is Father , Son and the Holy Ghost.Possibly , the Mother Goddess is the Holy Spirit. Reading the Bible, I see things a lot different than mainstream Christianity. In Psalms it says that the Lord swore unto David ,that his seed would endure forever and that there would never fail a man of King David's bloodline to sit on his throne. So if Jesus was the Messiah for sure he had children. That is why many are looking for a sky god to come and solve our problems.I don't believe he died on the cross,he died years later in Kashmir,India. His name is on the throne of David as Yasa Asaf. And Yasa's tomb is in Kashmir.

Trinity first apears in hindu religion. Its not physical state of those 3 gods , its 3 GOD's characteristics. Then trinity is actualy in OT .
Before 7th century Cristianity actualy concider 3 characteristics of GOD and they recognise Jesus is GOD son, after that Catolics changed everything and claim 1+1+1=1
I hope they get the same change at the grocery store and cashier instead 3$ gives them 1 and explaning the trinity idea.
Therefore GOD exists.

PS. If you concider that Jesus is the GOD him self then Jesus had Jesus who died on the cross. WHich Leads Jesus had child Jesus. WOw.

Aah, you've been reading and/or watching The Davinci Code. Was Jesus God? Was Jesus a mere mortal? Did Jesus get married? Did he die? Did he have kids?

We will never truly know. Just accept it, man.

Yes there is a problem with Jesus having children which by the way is completely false. No I would not worship his children. The reason Jesus is Jesus is because he is perfect he never sinned period. He came here to die to take our sins away. Only he could do this because he is pure.

Weather or not he had children has nothing to do with the fact that he was a divine being that came to the earth, and preformed many great miracles including the atonement. It is possible that He had children, It's also possible that he didn't, but we don't know that so if you want to believe it, that is okay, but remember the important things he taught first, like love one another, forgiveness, mercy, following his example. I sometimes like to believe that he had a family, but weather he did or not is not the important thing. He told us what we need to do to get ourselves and our families home.
