can you trust a long distance relationship besides trust?

me and my girlfriend are very much in love we argue sometimes because i tell her my feeling about her going out of town going out to eat with her guy friends and stuff I try to trust her and believe her but the situations don't give me a chance to trust her, sometimes she goes out of her way to go see other guys she tells me they are just friends, I dont know them i never talked to them, one of them is in the service and the other owns a ranch, so she goes out to the ranch to have dinner with him watch a movie have a drink but i have to trust her with him how? i love her and everything but that sounds fishy and there for i get mad and i tell her how that makes me feel, she gets mad to because she says she's not that way if she's not why is she doing that then she gets more angry and defensive if we both have stayed is because we care about each other but i guess she has a different way of seeing things wich i dont like because she's not respecting me at all i tried to break it off.

Tricky situation. The bottom line is: Either you believe her or you don't. I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt. You should meet her friends to get a sense as to what they're about. She may be telling you the truth and all is in fact harmless. Afterall, she tells you what she's doing. She could simply say nothing and you wouldn't be the wiser.
Why not go there on a surprise visit sometime?

Depends on how well you know the other person, and trust does have a lot to do with it. If you can't trust her then there is on relationship. At least she is being honest about where she is and who she is hanging out with. You got to give her some credit on that. When you keep buggin about her cheating all the time that would set her off. It would set me off cause you get tired of be accused all the time when you not doing nothing. But having a long distance relationship doesn't last every long.
