Absolutely, if you are a virgin it means that you have enough self-control not to just have sex with a guy. It means that you value yourself more than that. If you are a virgin then you know that you do need to have sex to keep a guy interested.

It is a big deal. We females get only one "cherry".
Personally, I waited until I met someone that got me
feeling "that way". I guess horny, would be the word.

Unlike my friends who lost their virginity at 13 and 14 years old, and then were devastated when the boy moved onto someone else, I didn't want that, and I didn't want to be in love for my first time, because of that risk.
I waited until I was almost 21 years old.
It was a little unconventional, because I was not in love, with him, nor he with me, but my first time was just as I had prayed for:
1) Please may we like each other a lot
2) Please don't let it hurt too much
3) Please let it be fun (again, unlike my friends who didn't know what they were doing, I had fun! In fact, the only thing that almost spoiled it ... He didn't believe me when I told him it was my first time. I guess I was having too much fun. :-)

It was perfect, for ME. There was no love loss when we went our separate ways a few months later, and a few months after that, I met my first love - and things were wonderful.

For me, it wasn't so much the losing of my virginity, that was a big deal, but HOW I was going to lose it.

hi, I have considered some gruesome ******* with the most suited women I have ever considered. that is truly self belief, human beings can see instantly even as someone lacks self belief. i'm a handsome guy and that i have not had a lady for 6 years. so that you're so fortunate to be youthful. stay life and luxuriate in it like no one is gazing. purely provide up demanding about what others are deliberating you. sturdy luck mate, issues will be wonderful.

Men or boys of certain religions or rather extreme Christian groups would care a lot.

For an average situation it's nothing to care about in this way. Just be aware that you'll always remember your first time - so carefully choose the one you experience it with.

todays society does not put much emphasis on virginity - there was a day that it mattered - some people still hold tight to their moral convictions and remain a virgin till they marry - as a man I would be so honored and delighted to have a girl save herself for me

No, but don't think you are better than other girls.

I can't stand it when a girl is a virgin and all she talks about is being a virgin....like that's her only good quality.

Depends on your morals. In today's society? No. To just 1 individual person? Yes, but again, depends on your way of thinking.

It's a big deal if someone is trying to take it from you and they are not genuine about it!

Nope, plain and simple. However if its your choice then stick with it. Once you go down that road there is no going back to where you were. Make sure you wont regret it!
