My bangs are pretty full, and I hate it. How do I make them more spread apart? With how they are, if they go over my eyes, it looks horrible because they're so thick

My hair is not really long w/ bangs my hair hangs about half an inch below my ears. I got my bangs trimmed a couple times while growing my hair out (which I wish I'd never done) so my bangs are kind of out of proportion. Now I'm trying to grow them back out though. Just thought I'd let you know I don't have real long hair w/ bangs ;)

First of all, if you want to keep them short, just layer them and then use the thinning shears on them. If you want to grow them long then do what the other person said. Take 2/3 and pull to the side with little butterfly clips and just have a few wispies in the front.

My hair is really thick and as kid was made to have bangs...boy were they thick. I feel your pain. Back in high school I grew them out. Best way is probably to just let it grow out (and just try to deal with it in the process), retrain the part so half of it will go where you want it and recut the other half if you still want bangs.

Although, you say they can already go over your eyes, so maybe an allover shorter trimmed look would be a nice change?

Separate your bangs by 2/3 across leaving the thinner section over your forehead. Pull the rest of your bangs to the side and comb back. Hold them in place using gel and hairspray. When your bangs grow out, just trim the thinner section.

ask the people that cut your hair to thin it out. They arent going to cut it or trim just make it thiner. After just like tame your bangs to swish to the side so it creates a curve like look. some guys have it like that and it looks good. but i think they gel it and like sway to the side. to make it stay
