...but showed compassion for the "sinner". Will it be the same when He returns? Will He kick the church's butt and take everyone else up to Heaven???

I am sure most Church goers are going to be surprised. How many times have they rejected one of Gods Chosen. They would not accept Jesus in his day. and most so called Churches would not accept him now.

Depends. Here's the problem - most religious practitioners (including most who identify themselves as Christians) tend to look at the checklist to Heaven. It doesn't really matter what religion (or none, for that mater). You hear the same things: either "I'm a good person," "I try to help others," or worse yet, "I uphold all the canons of our religious law." All of these are wrong. Checking off a perfect adherence to the 10 Commandments won't get anyone a seat in heaven. Neither will fasting once a week, once a year, etc. There is nothing we can do except accept the grace of God. The religious majority, then & now, don';t see themselves as sinners. That is the problem. All of us, ewven those who ahve been forgiven, as sinners. And as such we will never be perfcet and can never earn spiritual meril. Grace is te unearned faoivr of a lovign God and is the ONLY way to gain acceptance into the Kingdom. And it is only available through accepting God's gift of His perfect and holy sacrifice, Jesus. Sinners who met (and still meet) Christ got that. Sinners didn't (don't) follow rules & regulations. They accespt Jesus' love and out of love for Him try to live in accordance with His teaching. That includes regretting further sin, repenting and asking forgiveness as we go. So Christ will accept the sinner but not the religious legalist who thinks that he can buy his/her way into Heaven by completing a checklist without love for God and motivation to act beacuse of that love - not out of fear or self-importance.

Those religions were far worse than the sinner, and most religions stem from those.

Religions are very careless with the information that is supposed to be from God, as the bible says the imagination of man is evil from his youth,

If some body tells you that you either go to heaven or to hell, you need to investigate that statement very carefully.
God is only concerned about facts, not imaginations.

There is going to be a new heaven and a new earth, those yhat go to heaven will be helpers in this process, as for me I want to be like Job and let my redeemer and his wonderful company allow me to be in the new earth with the kind of flesh body that is so perfect it last forever Job.19:25,26; 2Pet.3:13l Isa.65:17; 66:1,22;

I hope not because I'm a part of the "religious community".

He showed anger to the religious leaders (not the entire community) because He walked among them doing miracles and teaching about God and they refused to believe in Him. (Matthew 12:1-6; Matthew 12:38-42).

P.S. I don't think Jesus will take anyone to Heaven to be with Him for eternity (that's a really long time) if they don't want to be with Him now.

Let's start with a quote from Jesus, "its the sick who need a doctor not the healthy." This is a very important theme in the Bible. A Christians two main goals in life should be to become closer to God and help other people come to Jesus. But as a more direct response to this question Jesus got mad at the Pharisees and Sadducee's not his fellow believers. The Pharisees and Sadducee's were too stubborn to see he was the Son of God. They missed the most important part, that is why he got mad.

He didn't show anger for the "religious community" per say. He was angered by those who weren't doing his Father's work, who were posers. When the Rapture happens those faithful to him will be rewarded and taken up to Heaven,the rest will Faith the tribulation. I doubt that Jesus would "kick" any ones butt expect maybe for the Anti Christ's.

No, because it is written and you were told what was wrong and what was right in the bible. You just have to read it. Christians are called to show compassion for the sinner too.

He was angry at religious community leaders who knew the path to God but were keeping others from following it by making demands not found in Torah, not for the rank and file members. He says a lot in the Bible about His plans when He returns.kicking peoples butts wasn't mentioned. But Saddam's over there{writer points in direction of Iraq}.

Not quite. He will take the true Christians to heaven, and then when it is time He will destroy the rest of the world. Read the book of Revelation, there is a lot of good info in there.
