I don't care whether or not you think this is the "right" answer according to you...it is my belief.
We are here so that God can experience God's self.
God is absolute. In this state there are no contradictions and no relativity. Everything is constant, absolute.
There are no temperature fluctuations, for instance. How would you know it's hot, if you never experienced cold? How would you know you're tall, if you never saw someone shorter than you? How would you know love if you never experienced hate or fear?
God knows what God is, but the knowing of a thing and the experiencing of it are two entirely different things. For example you know what icecream is, but experiencing the taste of it is different (and SO much better) than just intellectually knowing that it is frozen cream and sugar.
God created life as we know it so that God could experience God's self in the world of relativity through us, who are each an individuation of the whole.
God does not judge us for our actions...after this physical incarnation ends we will return to the spiritual dimension and decide if we want to stay or experience another physical incarnation. This is how we serve God.
So, live life with joy and gratitude and take advantage of the chance to fully experience every event that comes your way.
By the way, I can't wait to read what you think the "right" answer is.

It depends on the person - we all have our own talents, skills & spiritual gifts. It's up to us to seek to know & do God's will for our personal lives.
UPDATE -
‘…the clearest example of our beginning is the movie "Quest for Fire"’
That's the clearest example of the problems our society faces today - the inability to distinguish between truth and a lie. We've been lied to so much & had it justified over the past 25 + years that truth is an enigma to most people today. This reference is a movie, - a piece of fiction - not a documentary. Have you even ever watched it? It's not only a work of fiction it's a boring one IMO. Besides – what arrogance leads you to believe you have the “right” answer?

The purpose as told by the Creator; To worship only to Him, accept the existence of angels, scriptures and prophets. Spend the life according to the rules defined by God.

God created us to have fellowship with Him...to be His friends & to worship Him. It's always interesting to me to picture in my mind all kinds of people doing what they were designed to do...worship their Creator. Some people are way off base from their intended purpose. God's ways are higher than our ways & His thoughts higher than our thoughts. We were created in His image but can't claim to know why He did what He did. We're mere humans. We look like HIm but we don't have his omnipotence (all power), His onmiscience (all knowledge), His omnipresence (everywhere). We have some truth revealed in the Bible but there are some things we just have to take on faith & believe He knows best. The Bible says that the Holy Spirit reveals truth too.
James 1:5-6 If any of you need wisdom, you should ask God, and it will be given to you. God is generous and won't correct you for asking.
But when you ask for something, you must have faith and not doubt. Anyone who doubts is like an ocean wave tossed around in a storm.
God is the best question answerer hands down! :) I suggest that you ask HIm to show you your purpose in life. Look for it in the Bible and talk to Christian brothers and sisters about it. God can use them to help you too.

Sure. God is spelled with a capital "G".
God created men and women on the sixth day of creation and gave them instructions. One of the instructions was to multiply and replenish the Earth.
Two days later God made Ha-Adam and placed him in the Garden of Eden where soon later God took from the man He made the rib, DNA to make the womb man, woman. Ha-Adam in turn named her Eve as she would be the mother of the living.

I think humans were created for more than one purpose. The first purpose is something we all take part in and that is to praise God. The other purpose is to use our gifts to make this world a better place.

If we were created by GOD then only he would know the reason.
But assuming that we can use some understanding of GOD does in Bible then i may as well assume we are expiriment for his NExt Creations.
Imagine there is nothing and for ethernity GOD was alone.. and all that love that GOD has... has to be given to some1. GOD wanted recognition. THere is nothing around just a GOD. WOW he gotta be bored.
THErefore GOD exists.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

To glorify Him. He's so insecure that he constantly needs people to get down on their knees for him and acknowledge his superiority. His choirs of angels weren't good enough, so he created us, so he could have other people to look down on. I mean, He won't let us worship any other Gods, He makes us constantly bend our lives around what He says, and he just HAS to have us telling him how great he is all the time. I think we're dealing with a very sick and twisted personality here, don't you?
