Okay, I am not a Christian, but I had to step in. No where in the bible does is specifically say "go to church/worship the holy day on Saturday." And it doesn't say Sunday, or any other day of the week for that matter. In the U.S. the calendar runs Sunday-Saturday, but in Europe it runs Monday-Sunday, so in Europe the last day of the week would be on Sunday. It is all on how people look at their first/last day of the week. I think the whole point in the holy day was to set aside a day to remember G-d's day of rest, I don't think it really matters whether it is Saturday or Sunday. Calendars/Months were different back then anyways. During the time around Jesus's life they didn't have Sunday, Monday, etc. They literally had, "Day One", "Day Two", and so forth. The last day of the week was the only day that was named, and that was called "The Sabbath". So there is no way we could ever tell if The Sabbath was on our Sunday, or if it was on Wednesday.

Pimpin, no where in the Bible does it state NOT to go to Church on Sunday or Saturday or Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday or even Friday. C'mon man, if your claim to fame is your day to go to church, maybe you should spend more time in church and also not hang your salvation on a day of the week.

well... the first mention in the King James Version of the bible is the acts of the apostles, chapter 20, verse 7. It referred to the disciples of the city of trojas coming together to break bread and listen to Paul preach on the first day of the week. this has traditionally been Sunday.

i have never found as of yet, a prohibition from attending any kind of church or religious assembly on Sunday. only that you honor the sabbath day (according to the Jewish people, the period from Friday evening to Saturday evening) and keep it holy.

Saturday was the Sabbath in the Old Testament so that was the day that was set aside for worship. When Christ arose on the 3rd day (which would be Sunday) 'tradition' changed to worship on Sunday. Saturday worship was required under the Law (before crucifixion). Now that we are in the period of Grace (after Resurrection), we (traditional Christians) worship on Sunday. My personal belief is that as long as you attend and spend time in worship, it shouldn't matter what day you spend in worship.

The early church refered to Sunday as the Lord's Day (Rev. 1:10).

That's cool if you go to church on Saturday...but I really don't think it matters what day you go.

"Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day." ~Col 2:16

There are no church's in my area that have services on Saturday. So I go on Sunday, and prayer service on Monday.
The commandment is to keep the seventh day holy. Sunday is my seventh day. Monday to me is the first day of the week.

The 4th commandment is "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, Six days shall you labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God".

number 1 Jesus was called a blasphmer by the pharisees for breaking the jewish sabbath observance law. yet He says He is the Lord of the Sabbath correct? read matt 12 : 5 Or have you not read in the Law, that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple break the Sabbath, and are innocent? But i say to you that something greater than the temple is here..... Important Mark 7 Followers of tradition. verse 6 and 7: Rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is writtne, This people honors me with there lips, but their heart is far away from me. but in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines of men. ....9 you nicely set aside the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition." who is Jesus talking about? the pharisees and there traditions and jewish laws.... verse 3 For the pharisees and all the jews do not eat unless they carefully wash their hands, thus observing the traditions of the elders.... Jesus came to abolish the jewish laws, although keeping the sabbath is a commandment for us today, observing the sabbath according to the jewish custom is Not. we cannot be made righteous by our works. the christian sabbath is sunday, and its made for man not vice versa, a day to rest and fellowship, ty hope this helps?

Who really cares? If you like to go to Church on a Tuesday, do you really think God cares?

It sounds to me as if you are trying to start a rather childish 'my faith is better than yours' kind of argument. Where in the Bible does it ask you to behave like that?

before the crucifixion they worshipped on the saboath(sat). After He arose the apostles and the early church began sunday worship, most likely 'cause that is when he arose.
