I am a seventh day Adventist.
I am a human being.
I am a worker,
I am a family member that care for them.
I am a part of the society and I would keep on going However you may need an answer more specific; then...
We do believe in the bible in most of the things that it says, we do have a 27 beliefs that make our lives tha way they are some are:
1. We believe in God as the creator of everything.
2. We Believe in Jesus as the self image of God and being incarnate in human flesh he was one of our own kind so he was able to save us from the power of the evil.
3. We believe in the Holy Ghost, which is God in its pure essence all around and everywhere, not attain to a human body, neither just sitting in His throne in heaven.
4. We believe that everything has been created by Jesus, therefore; humankind is what it is since the very beginning and there is no evolution.
5. We believe that life was also created, and also every human being, so we refute those who talk of a pre-existence, and as life was created, it is also possible to be destroyed, then, we do not believe that people that has died is living right now somewhere in the universe, (With the exception of those that the bible gives testimony of being alive, such as moses or Elijah.
There would a lot say but I just run out of time, so I hope there's a little of an answer here, yet I'd like to tell you more...

While I know there are those who wouldn't agree, a Seventh-day Adventist is a Christian who takes the Bible as his/her sole authority. Some of their distinct beliefs are:
1. In the 7th day of the week (Saturday) as the Biblical Sabbath
2. In a hell as an event, not an eternal punishment
3. In death as a sleep and totally unconscious, NOT an immediate reward of either heaven or hell
4. In the soon return of Jesus to redeem the faithful and destroy the earth, then recreate the earth in its original perfect form.
For more beliefs and info check out the following:

Also, there are cults that have sprung off of the Adventist church, so don't get them confused. Seventh-day Advenists are actually normal, descent citizens.

I used to be a SDA, so I know what they believe.
They believe in the Sabbath Friday Evening to Saturday Evening like the Bible says in Exodus 20:8-11; John 4:22-24; Rev.14:7.
They believe in the clean and unclean meats.
** TEXTS THAT INVOLVE THE CLEAN AND UNCLEAN MEATS:
GEN.18:7-8; LEV.11; 20:25; DEUT.14; ISAIAH 66:17; EZEK.22:26; DAN.1:8; MATT.3:4; LUKE 24:41-43; ACTS 10:10-14; 1COR.3:16-17; 9:27; 2COR.6:17; AND REV.21:8.
They also believe that Death is a sleep(John 11:11-14; Matt.9:24)
They also believe some of the doctrines of the Catholic Church too such as GOING TO HEAVEN, JESUS'S DEATH FRIDAY & RESURRECTION SUNDAY,TRINITY, PAGAN DAYS which are unbiblical. Their a daughter of the Catholic Church (Rev.17:5).
They also believe that Elijah and Enoch are in heaven which is unbiblical.(Jn.3:13; Acts 2:34).

they are believers in Christ who keep the Lords day or Sabbath or 7th day of the week. they hold alot of truth but also are deceived in a little. there are many organizations that keep the Lords day Sabbath not all are called 7th day adventist for instance there is a group called Church of God international who keep Saturday to the Sabbath and also keep Gods Holydays. you can check them out at www.cgi.org MAY God grant you wisdom after all who called Himself Lord of Saturday why none other than the Christ!
Mr 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
Mr 2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

add to that no tv or movies etc on the holy day. the day is devoted to worship. a good deal of them go to 7th day adventist schools. my best friend growing up was a sda. theyre normal people who just worship on a different day. this should help you.

Christians.
Believe that since the bible says that God said, "..and on the seventh day he rested, and called it the Sabbath day..." or something like that, so they worship on Saturday, the seventh day of our calendar.
For the most part they are like all the other protestant religions with a few quirks here and there.
