check out http://www.sncf.fr/indexe.htm. You can buy it in advance with your credit card, see all your time options and the costs associated with each and buy on line. Then when you get to the train station in Paris, put your credit card into one of there Kiosks and out comes your ticket. Very nice!! I did this, bought it online a month in advance from the states, traveld to Paris and it worked liked a charm. Same TGV route. ;-)

It's super-easy. Pay online with your credit card, or else just get there & buy it at the train station, because they go so often & rarely fill up (except rush-hour times).
