Pro-illegals, what would you do if I did this?

Snuck into your house, watched your TV , ate some of your food, and then when you saw me and screamed I said "Amnesty"?

ANTHONY J- Balls would be staying in Mexico and fighting to improve their country, not sneaking into the US for a low-paying job manning a leaf blower.

My answer: This country is going to S**T because of the illegal immigration situation, so we may be in that situation sooner than you think, compliments of the illegal immigrants! As someone else said here, you obviously think all Americans are rich and know nothing about hardship and being poor - well, you are very wrong! From what I have seen in the news and on this forum lately, it seems to me that the "poor illegal immigrants" are in many cases getting more help from the US Government than the poor of the USA! This is wrong! Real wrong!

From your answer and statements, I would say that you are an illegal immigrant who is maybe suffering a bit of a guilty conscience, knowing that you are breaking the law every day that you are in the USA and knowing the damage you and the rest of the illegals are doing to this overly generous country, and so you are trying to grasp at straws to justify what you are doing, even though you know it is completely wrong.

However, I would say that the things that are starting to happen in the USA now that I am seeing in the news should make you pretty nervous now, after all - yes, the American people are rising up and telling the illegal immigrants and the Federal Government that we aren't going to take it anymore and things are starting to happen. Employers are re-thinking and starting to let go their illegal employees as they realize the savings won't be as much when they get fined the big bucks that they are going to get fined; landlords are starting to kick out their illegal tenants as they don't want to get the fines that are starting to happen; the INS sweeps are going to happen more and more and in every state and every city, one by one; when the police stop you for that burned out tail light, they are going to ask you for your ID, insurance, drivers license and if they discover that you are illegal, you will be placed in cells immediately to await a speedy deportation; soon, when you go to the Emergency Rooms you are going to be turned away if you cannot produce proof that you are legally in the USA, unless it is for a life-or-death medical problem only; when you try to register your children in school, you will be told "no-can-do" if your child and his/her parents cannot prove they are legally in the USA, and you and your child will be deported immediately; soon, I believe the anchor baby law will be removed and you won't even have that benefit any longer. The days of "don't ask" about resident status are quickly coming to an end. The days of freebies and handouts in the USA for illegal immigrants are nearly over. And, with the much more beefed up border patrol with the national guard and the minutemen, the fences that are being built, and the hi-tech stuff going in there, you won't have that easy trek back to the USA next time.

In fact, if I were an illegal immigrant in the USA now, I would start planning my own orderly self-deportation back to my own country. Especially if I have been in the USA illegally, but have done no further illegal acts besides crossing the border illegally. Because, if I take myself and my family back home to our own country NOW, before I am discovered by the authorities, I have a better chance of someday returning legally by applying through the proper procedures, or I can now take the money I have already earned back home and maybe start a business in my home country and maybe try to do some good towards change in my home country to make things better for the future generations there and so my children and other children will not have to think that in the future they have to go illegally to the USA to have a decent life.

Don't you just love Anthony J? He thinks all americans are rich lazy slobs. I just wish I could have the same rights illegals do. I am not against illegal immigration because I don't want to share my rich wonderful life with others. I wish I had what they think I have. Regardless I still wouldn't owe them anything. I agree with you about your question, as any fair minded person would. Maybe all these pro illegal folks should start financially aiding these people to become citizens instead of letting the rest of us support them with our lost opportunities.

ANTHONY--what you don't think we have poor here too? We have Thousands .And they are not all breaking the law running to Canada for help for their medical needs.
