For the sake of understanding look at your country as your own home.

would you allow a neighbor to break into yourhouse and live?
would you avail yourself of the LAW and have them removed?
does their desire to have a better life give them the RIGHT to break and enter and take what is yours?
Should you be forced to pay for their medical and education because they decided to live (uninvited and without your permission) in your house?

That is what illegal immigration does. How can anyone defend it?

I wil explain to you all. I am an American who LIVES IN MEXICO (LEGALLY). I have known many illegals. I worked as a welfare worker. MANY ILLEGALS COME HERE JUST TO TRY TO BILK THE SYSTEM. They do not like their home so they invade mine. loving thy neighbor does not and never meant to allow your neighbor to become a criminal!
as for the ignoramous who said that illegals pay more taxes than you or I, you are a LIAR and you know it!
You have no proof, where my statement about illegals not paying taxes is backed up by hundreds of thousands of government documents

Side tracking this question with other scenarios doesn't cut it! I am ony talking about ILLEGAL aliens! I welcome any and all (non-muslims, as the muslim clergy has declared war upon the USA we do not need to open ourselves up to the enemy in any kind of war) LEGAL immigrants!

Any logical and reasonable person can not disagree with your statements.

It's a shame but illegals only look out for their own benefits and don't care about the laws they blatantly disregard and politicians are so under the influence of big business that they should all be in jail for accepting bribes.

1. NO
2. YES
3. NO
4. NO

Then you say "that is what illegal immigration does"......are you telling me........or asking me?

I don't defend illegal immigration. I just think differently than most and because this is a Q and A.......I answer.
You can use ALL the metaphors in the world......Why flush.....why make the bed......why allow anyone to break in the house.....etc. But I have to look at this logically.

If we decide to deport 12 million people.....What is going to happen? How are we going to do it? Is lawlessness and chaos going to come to an all time high....as they try to run, hide, lose their jobs and thus rob? Are you expecting them to line up and say OK....? Tell me HOW we are going to do it.....and when you can give me a LOGICAL solution that doesn't cost 2 billion dollars THEN.....THEN my friend I will be the first one to say......Your right.....you are absolutely correct!

Secure the borders
Screen the illegals
Grant Amnesty
(no guest worker)
SEVERELY fine and/or jail employers
and then find a new battle to fight!

Reality Rocks!

I would like to add something to that. We live in Rock Springs, Wy. There is a huge oil boom going on here. A man with no skills can come here and make $6-8000 a month easy. So now we are over run with mexicans. They come here and work for a month or two and go home. Thats enough money to last them all year there. My husband has so many non english speaking people at his company that they had to hire translators. They are working in a dangerous environment, and if some one yells "look out!" They don't know to move.

"would you allow a neighbor to break into yourhouse and live?"

Yes. "Love thy neighbor"

"would you avail yourself of the LAW and have them removed?"

No. If they broke in, it means that they were in a situation where they needed help. "Love thy neighbor"

"does their desire to have a better life give them the RIGHT to break and enter and take what is yours?"

"Better life"? You think they come here so they can buy a sport car or something? To you, they may come here for a "better life", but in reality, they come here because they would die if they stayed in their country. Untill you live in an area where you have to dig in trash dumps on a daily basis for food, and know that your kids will die soon from either starvation or lack of money for medical needs, you have no right to think they're coming here just for a "better life." Oh and once again "Love thy neighbor!"

"Should you be forced to pay for their medical and education because they decided to live (uninvited and without your permission) in your house?"

Forced? Do they put a gun to my head and make me take money out of my bank account? I would gladly pay for charity and donate to anyone who is needy. Btw, have you ever heard of "Love thy neighbor"?

If you're so intent on treating illegal immigrants as some kind of disease, I suggest you go to where they live and understand why they have to come here. I would also suggest you learn about the immigration process, and how it can take up to 20-30 years before they tell you you're appoved or denied, depending on which country you're living in. If you can turn away another human being because they're dying, then you I would definetly consider inhuman.

I asked a VERY similar question this morning. Great thinking!!! I had a couple interesting answers, but the thing that got me was that everyone supporting it complained how bad this country and its rules and citizens were, but never mentioned why they or the people they support had to SNEAK IN or why they WON'T LEAVE. And of course they were the minor percent that paid taxes. Then stated that it would be cruel to not allow them into school for an education and against doctor's orders to refuse treatment. You know, it is also against the law to set a trap in your home for someone to be killed by, I guess that is part of why America is so great, it's as close to perfect as you will get.

Who is defending it. Damn you guys never get it do you!!

If employers would start getting those heavy fines they are suppose to get when illegals are found maybe they would stop hiring them. INS picks them up and their employers go to the border to pick them up when they cross back over.

Some in this country want slave labor, that's why the Repubs won't do a damn thing about it! And the democrats probably wouldn't either.

Oh and you know that PFC who had his head cur off the other day and was mutilated was of Mexican descent!!

Anything bad to say about him breaking into your "house"!!

budy im not an immigrant i was born here i'm a first generation american & unless you & your family are native americans you are also an immigrant and us "immigrants" are very proud and hard workers. i bet maybe your parents are retired, your grand parents are definetely retired right? well my little immigrant great grandfather still works his *** off everyday, we get retirement and social security as do you but he refuses to stop, he woke up from hip replacemeant surgery trying to get dressed to go to work. we are here for the same reasons as, you are to seek a better life for our families and better oppurtunities so im sorry if you see that as wrong but dont worry we are taking up a small portion of your country and do your jobs except better because we appreciate the value of a $ and the liberties we are given in this country and if you dont like it then head north till you hit canada!

Yes, what about this..

Should Anglo-Saxons have been allowed to steal the land from the Indians and force them to change their way of life all for money and so called riches?

Don't be a hypocrite, we did it to the Indians and the Mexicans are doing it to us.
