1. No one, Christian or otherwise, has the right to tell anyone where they're going after this life. That is for each of us to decide for ourselves. God gives us the right to choose (see #2).

2. The Bible teaches that we have two choices: live with Him forever in Heaven or die in the fires of Hell. If you don't choose one, you automatically choose the other. He tells us how we can live forever (John 17:3; John 3:16), but He also gives us the bad news about hell (Romans 6:23).

3. The teaching that the wicked will burn forever and ever in hell is a lie. The Bible says the wages of sin is death. How are you dead if you're alive and burning forever and ever and constantly regretting your wicked life? God is not a sadist. The wicked will burn until they die (ashes to ashes). (Deuteronomy 32:22; Malachi 4:1; Job 21:30; Psalms 37:38; Psalms 37:20; Psalms 37:9; Psalms 62:3; Psalms 145:20; Psalms 21:9). The words "destroy", "devour", "slain", "cut off", and "consume away" suggest that there's an end to the fire. Praise God!

P.S. If you meet Christians that don't exude love, then they are just faking, aren't they (Galatians 5:22, 23)? Don't judge all Christians by the fakers. God really is love (1 John 4:7,8).

Well, I think that there are more tactful ways of getting your point across than saying "You're gonna burn in hell." But just because someone believes that non-Christians will indeed go to hell doesn't mean that they "hate" them. Truth is truth, regardless of whether it's uncomfortable to listen to. If you believed that the sky was green and I believed that it was blue and tried to convince you of that, it wouldn't mean that I "hated" you, it would just be me trying to show you the truth. And really, if there was a good reason to belive that Christianity was false, I'd rather know the truth than be "right" and stubborn.

Also, the actions of Christians do not change the character of God. I believe in God because of what I know about HIM, because no matter how hypocritical someone is to me, God is still the same.

I've often felt this way. Many people don;t like me because of my liberal views and consider me a threat. The interesting part is that my life is my in the model of Christ than these "so-called" Christians. I practice tolerance, self denial, and try my damnedest to act toward others as I would want to be acted upon. I don;t judge and I don't wish bad on anyone. I don;t own a weapon (so that covers the living by the sword thing) and I believe in communication before conflict. I have to agree with you. The hypocrisy is sometimes to thick in the world

That's just the thing... so- called christians have been parading around, and giving the "my crap doesn't stink" speech for centuries, and the truth is: THEY are going to burn in hell, because they have twisted the word of God to their own ends, and are sitting in judgement of others, which the bible expressly prohibits... Do not be fooled into thinking that they are true christians, and also, they are the radical majority.. not the sum of all christianity... Those of us who follow the teachings of the bible are not like that at all... the act of judging another human being is actually blasphemous. Only God is in a position to judge, and those christians who judge others, like that, are probably in big trouble when the day of reckoning arrives.

As a preacher I don't find it funny at all when a Christian presumes to be God and place judgment on others.
But then when I consider what is being taught in Churches all across America I'm not really surprised.
Some of the most hateful people I have ever met were in Church.

Why is responding with the Word of God Himself seen as hatred? I hold no ill will toward you or anyone else who wants to live according to their own rules. Knock yourself out. I am only available to those who want to learn a better way of life rather than clawing for the scraps of satisfaction and dodging the fear that life without Jesus provides. Do what you want and have a good life doing it. I hope you change your mind, but that's your right - your free will in action. Just don't accuse me of hate when I try to act lovingly toward you by offering the message of Christ. Are you snappish and snotty in your replies? One post tells me a lot - let';s make a comedy making fun of Christians who answer us on questions of faith. And you have the nerve to call someone else hateful? Look in the mirror.

Yeah it's just a barrel of laughs.

They say we are damned to hell for disagreeing. And we are the bad ones.

The evil doers who attack American are religious fanatics. But we are the bad ones.

Mainworry:

Ok it's not just your interpretation, of the Bible. No it's the all loving god who will torture us for eternity, because we didn't believe he existed.

The injustice isn't in your mind?

It's god's will?

Is that better?

Mr. Victor ius

Ok I believe you are sincere, thank you for trying to save me from hell.

Now can we look at the logic of what you are saying?

1. Other people look at the Bible, and do not read it as saying I burn in hell for not believing in Jesus.

2. The Jesus scenario is illogical and contradictory for a number of reasons.

The all powerfull god couldn't forgive people's sins, without the Jesus set-up?

To erre is human, to forgive is divine.

Christians reverse the saying. God can't forgive without the intermediary, who is divine and human?

Or is it that your god could forgive, but choses not to, if we doubt his existence? Doesn't that sound more like anger than love?

No, it's not funny. It's wrong as you've said but it doesn't make the religion wrong. The Christian who throws a stumbling block before a potential new believer is in deep doo-doo if it's all true.
I heard something for the first time today at the store. One of the clerks was agitated with her co-worker. She said, "Go to heaven!" I laughed, She said that it takes care of both problems. Her's and her friend's.

You are saying all Christians hate more than anyone else? That is a hateful statement if you asked me. I don't hate people and I am a Christian. I do prey that people repent and ask that God forgive them for their sins. I think true Christians do. But anyone can label themselves anything and that doesn't make it so. Maybe you have never met a real Christian!?

WHAT your probably refering to are Children of GOD, Baby Children of GOD.
True CHRISTIAN can let GOD talk through him,her and do miracle's through him,her so on so on, and you should FEEL the POWER of an ALMIGHTY GOD if it's your time to get SAVED, if that person is a True Christian.
Seem's to be very few of them around, but GOD's aworking on the problem!!!!!
Take's a while for a Child of GOD to GROW into what you would call a True Christian.
p.s.HATE wouldn't come out of a CHRISTIAN, but when you haven't grow up in the Spirit yet, well, how do baby's and kid's act?????
(like the way you made your "S" on the XXXX word!!!!
Remind's me of Religion's!!!!!!!)
