For some, their hatred of Jehovah's Witnesses stems from jealousy at the proof that a moral lifestyle is possible despite an immoral world. A few sincere ones cling to tradition and/or philosophy and these simply do not listen to the message of the Witnesses. For others, their thinking has become clouded by an evil unseen demon named Satan the Devil:
(2 Corinthians 4:4) The god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers
In any case, such hatred serves the purposes of Satan. Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) “Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

Most people are afraid to talk about their believe. They are just like the Pharisees who covered their ears and ranted rather than discuss. .The Pharisees thought they were religious too. Unlike the Beroea who Paul praised for looking up the Scriptures to see what was true. Paul doesn't say they were all converted but they took the time and did listen-for that they were praised. If more were doing what you do and less of what they are doing the world would be a better place.
You can see that right here on the board. They can't listen or discuss and feel that is Ok. True Believers would have no trouble any time talking with others (and will be glad to talk). The one like the Pharisees who put on a show but can't talk or get mad do not know God-no matter what they say. And they hate to hear that-because they are rightous in their own eyes (just like the Pharisees). And others have no believes.
Those who will discuss anytime and those who have no believes are much better than those who will not even listen. So says the Bible.

I don't hate JW's, they just annoy me for the following reasons.
1. They knock on your door too early in the morning and seem to not comprehend that some ppl work graveyard shift.
2. They believe Jesus is the Archangel Michael.
3. They think the 144,000 mentioned in Revelation are the only ones who will be saved (which makes me ask them which # they are).
4. JW's have predicted the return of Jesus 3 times so far and have been wrong. Jesus said he didn't know the hour or day of his return, but a JW seems to think they do.

Well as a witness you should know that Jesus told his disciples that just like He was hated, his followers will be hated as well. And honestly even though i am a JW i sometimes dont blame some of the people that get disturbed by us going to their homes and still argue with them and tell them that they are wrong. I have personally never agreed with those who do stand and debate, and even the society recommends that we not do that. When i go preaching if someone tells me they are not interested i simply let it go, i tell them that i am sorry i had bothered them and taken some of their time and wish them a good day. We are living in a world where most people have heard what we have to say and if they say they are not interested we should take their word for it.
So for those people who are bothered by the JW's debating with you in your own home I apologize on behalf of all of us. We arent told to go and prove everybody wrong, we simply want to share our beliefs with you and we are also following a commandment in the biblr found at Matthew 24:14 "and the good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.
and if your not interested simply say so politely or just dont answer the door, i promise we wont take it personally

I'm not sure why people hate MCR because they are amazing. People confuse change with selling out. MCR did in fact change their style, but for the better. They drew on the influences of the past to create an original and deep sound. Instead of using the same 3-power-chord structure that most rock bands use, they created complex musical works in their new album. I love the album because the music is really great and different from alot of other bands. People need to open their eyes and see the MCR has changed for the better. MCR Rocks!

I normally tend to NOT get involved in religious debates, as they generally degenerate into something else...but this question intrigued me so I'll have a go.
By your post and your inability to spell, I'll assume you are fairly young so I'll try to explain this as best I can.
For starters, not everyone "Hates" JW's,...they just get frustrated. The big problem that many if not most non- JW people have is the incessant "shoving" of the JW religion into other people's faces by its members... and if you are honest with yourself you'll admit to this. You can't FORCE someone to believe the way you do...either they will, or they won't, and frankly, from personal experience I know that the way that members of your religion "witness", it turns people off.
I have no doubt that you believe you are doing people a favor by trying to convert them to your religion...but the problem...and I'm sorry, but it is very unique to JW's..is that you go from door to door, basically make pests of yourselves, and WON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER. A lot of people also consider your sect hypocritical...here's an example. A friend of mine's brother in law, and his family, are JW. They won't participate in family Christmas gatherings, send no gifts....but they are happy to take the gifts from others. Hypocritical much?
Just because someone doesn't believe in God (sorry, Jehovah) the same way you do does not mean that they are necessarily wrong, evil, or doomed to Hell. It just means they believe in Him differently.
So please consider what I've said, and pass it on. I have friends who are JW and they don't try to convert me every time I see them...so why do 99% of the rest of you?
Perhaps this answer won't earn me 10 points, but at least it is honest. Good Luck to you.

I do not hate anyone except the devil, which is allowed. What I dislike about the JW's doctrine is the poor interpretation of the Bible and their (most of the time) lack of willingness to listen to the other side of the story without debating. I am all for intellectual discussions and Bible studies, but all of the JW's I have had dealings with seemed more interested in arguing their points and trying to convince me of my wrong ways of thinking. If you would like to start a Bible study with me, I would be delighted. Keep in mind, though, that I will be using my Bible, not the WatchTower's version. You, in turn, would be free to use yours.

I won't cut and paste an answer for you but I will say that hate is a strong word and with respect if you persecute people of other religions for their beliefs and promote yours on the back of false claims about other religions, I find it a bit strong to cry fail when people have had enough of your false witness. Nothing personal and I don't mean to be mean either but peoples feelings about you often have good reason behind them.

girl i'm not even sure YOU know jehovah's word. Why people hate you? Is it because you you're sooooo narrowminded? is it because your religion is sooooooo out of time? is it because you would stay and watch your mother being raped but wouldnt try to defend her(you're against violence)? is it because you live like parasites in so many countries and although you take advanatge of the peace and security it provides you you donnnot serve under arms even if this obligatory for every citizen of that country? Is it because you go from door to door like beggars to convert people to your herecy? Is it because some of you would rather die than have a transfusion? Jes, i i dont know why people hate you....

Ok first of all when refering to the "one and only God" it is capitalized. If you worship multiple gods then it is in lower case. Now as for the rest of your question it is quite annoying to have someone knock on the door and tell you all about a religion that you really couldn't care less about. That is an invasion of my privacy no matter what your God told you. Thank you

I am not trying to be mean, either, but, man, people don't answer their doors if we know it is you guys because you are nosy, pushy, kinda know it all, and don't know when to leave someone's home!!! You would make a much better case for your religion if you would proofread your question that is going to reach THOUSANDS of people, your spelling, punctuation and grammar are atrocious!!! Plus, a person's relationship with God is personal and really has nothing to do with you and I truly believe that. I am a Nazarene Christian, and I am going to Heaven just as quickly as you are when I die!! Maybe quicker if there is a written test. lol
