We talk about it. We talk about our bodies. Talk about moving in together. Having babies. Etc. But do not do the deed. We kiss each other. And are romantic with each other. We are both madly in love with each other, we both feel like we are soul mates. He is an old fashioned gentleman and likes to take things slow.
In his past he has had girlfriends that he has slept with right away. I just got out of a 4 year marriage to a jerk, he was my first sexual partner and my only.
Why is he waiting with me? Do you think that it could be because he is in love with me and is not a lust thing? It's not that he isn't turned on by me either. He always leaves very aroused.

i say he loves and respects you and is trying to learn from his mistakes - before he leaped too quickly and it ended badly. I usually tell guys to wait until she is ready but I have to switch this time and say hey wait until he is ready. relationships are hard enough all by themselves without added pressure. sounds like a keeper to me. Be happy

It sound like he just wants to take things slow, sex makes things a lot more complicated. It not that he is not attracted to you, he is just being a good guy, he understands that you just got out of a bad relationship and is just going slow for the sake of the relationship. Hold on to him he is one of the good ones.

He probably just wants you to know that he respects you and that isn't all he wants. A lot of guys would have just had sex with you already whether it worked out or not, but I think that this guy doesn't want to be just another guy, he wants to show you that he will only have sex with you when the time is right. He is just trying to show you he cares and that he doesn't just want to get into your pants!

there are sooo many possibilities. He may be afraid you will be disappointed, maybe he is ashamed of his body, mental issues...if you have discussed marriage,babies...then he's aware you are having issues but if you are both in love with each other, why are you not discussing this together? Bring it up...quit making it a bigger issue and letting it drive a wedge any longer?

Maybe he is just trying to take it slow. Maybe he wants to make sure that you are in it for long haul and not just for sex. That's cute that you all or taking it slow. Girl, enjoy the ride.
